This bug has actually been in the game since ow1, if you stay in the emote for a long time you'll notice you'll slowly start to fly upwards and upwards

It's because ow 2 is just ow 1 with some new heroes and a battle pass. They didn't rebuild the game from scratch they just updated ow 1 into ow 2

@@Ostrid1 they did actually change the game engine for OW2 this has caused some new bugs to occur but for the most part you are correct. Most of the code is the same as the original

Well, in fairness, Ash charging ult while Bob was active was a "feature" since OW1 and that was patched as a "bug."

@@nostra533 you can drop in on the enemy team by using this, then stopping the emote when you want to and dropping in from above, but you can still get out because your flight is off cooldown.

This bug is ingame since OW1, I know in OW1 it boosted you in the air by a tiny bit. I went into the Practice Range and went afk for 4-6hours and came back just floating somewhere in an upper corner of the map

I actually figured this out accidentally in game, emoting when we got second point in Havana, when the payloads going out of the warehouse and into the open, just stand on top of the payload and when it moves forward you will stay there

Emotes are meta. I remember way back when you can Tracer blink while emoting. Sit emote and blink into the backline. Or I used to flex using the Charleston emote and blink around the enemy.

It’s funny they still haven’t fixed the echo sticky bomb bug where they just straight up disappear after sticking. Granted it’s pretty rare, but as a Echo one trick in high GM when it does happen it either stops me from getting a kill or gets me killed.
