Great story man. My wife thought my Mom was trying to kill her before we got married. My whole family was going to my cousin's wedding. My brother, me and my stepdad went top the church to help with things. My Mom, my brother's girlfriend and my girlfriend (now my wife) were driving to the wedding later. My Mom tried to made a left turn on w yellow going a little too fast. Well the passenger door popped open and my wife was grabbing onto the door frame to stay in the car. My Mom just kept driving and angrily told my girlfriend to quickly close the door so she didn't have to slow down. Look forward to seeing this truck come together. Be safe and stay well. BTW....That same woman, now my wife, have been married since '79.

You said that you wanted a flat bed to be able to haul things, but that bed looks so good Being that you are going 3/4 tn just put a heavy steel floor in that bed and a 5th wheel or gooseball.

You're going to need a ladder to get in the truck Arco!

I would go with a telescoping tilt steering column. If you get in a wreck, that straight shaft steering column will pin you to the back of the cab.

You might need to get big truck fenders because they have a bigger wheel well opening for the big 44 inch tires

Leave the body the way it is after all the work and leave what original paint is left and clear coat it!

This project is getting stupider all of the time! You wont even be able to use the flatbed with it sitting at that height. But, it's yours, build it how you want.
