This is a great channel and a joy to watch! My own "smurf" is more like a western, though. The good: fit and finish, alignment, printing, markings, color, bezel (minimal backplay), case, all look good in the watch I received. Mechanism (until 22.00 at night, more on this later) is marvelous, true 28800 bph, with no second deviation per day and minimal beat error. And it hacks. The bad: lume lasts 15-20 minutes. Immediately changed the bracelet to a "diver" silicone one. Power reserve is a bit less than 35 hours. The ugly: severe time loss (from a couple of minutes, when worn, to >4 when laid down) during the period the date changes (22.00-24.00). The date change procedure seems to put some stress to the mechanism (maybe lack of oil or some dissalignment, I don't know). Weird thing is the seconds arrow, that doesn't seem to be affected! Minutes are lost randomly during this period, but the seconds would continue to count. Any thoughts?

And thats good we who love all types of watches need reviewers like you, who goes from low end affordable to high end affordable. Atleast i somegimes wonder in wich world some reviewers live in, special those who keeps on looking down on homages and calls them fakes. Not all of us can afford Rolexes, Tudors and so on. Great review! I bought a green, blue and black one. I couldn't get a good fit unfortunately. I wound up putting milanese bands on all three. The bezel line up was off, was pretty much my only disappointment other than the butterfly clasp. At 25 bucks though it was kind of hard to complain.

The model number is 6801, they put it on the bag that the watch comes in. The number on the back of the watch if I remember correctly also is the year that’s on the dial for whatever reason. The customer service lady also told me the movement is a Ronda 9018.

I used to have the quartz version of this watch in gold two-tone. I it was "okay." I sold it because my wife made fun of it, calling it my "LICE watch," and I really just wasn't wearing it. This automatic version now costs the same as what I paid for the quartz. I'm warming up to the brand again. However, if I was in the market for an inexpensive sub-style automatic, I think I'd go for the Tevise you reviewed in January. The bezel and case on the Lige are nicer, and a milled clasp is better than pressed, but I hate butterfly clasps, and I don't want to hear my wife making fun of my watch. LOL.

Thanks for the re-review of the watch! Maybe worth trying out. However, I'm curious about the 4hz movement: is it a uni-directional rotor? What is the power reserve of the movement? Can we trust the 36 hours mentioned in Lige's AE ad, or is 25-26 hours more plausible - namely if the movement is an 4hz "upscaled" version of (for instance) a 3hz DG2813.

Great watch especially this blue dial. Wondering if the butterfly clasp can be changed with milled clasp? Currently I changed the bracelet using my existing steeldive bracelet which gives me a perfect fit.

I bought a Lige watch. After two months the crown fell out. They refused to replace anything. It's garbage. Don't waste your time buying these watches. It's a waste of money at any price. Yea. Mineral bezel. Verified by whom?
