Finally completed the graduation project at the Light, Camera, Render! course by School of Motion.
There is no specific plot in this project. I just drove the characters through all the locations that were used as assignments during the course.
Instead of the static images that were made during the course, I wanted to make an animated version to show the whole range of tasks more vividly.
Except for the red car, all models and characters were provided with the course assets.
I had to animate the models, camera movements, set the lighting and materials and set up the render.
Sound design was not included in the course, but it add expressiveness.
The course was completed back in December 2022, but I wanted to make this project in the final decent quality.
In total, everything took more than six months, and the actual rendering in Octane took 1040 hours, not counting rough renders for tests.
