Can you do light paintings with double exposure?
@LightPaintingPhotography2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Some cameras allow for in camera double exposure and I have done it with film as well. I just posted some 35MM triple exposure light paintings to my instagram yesterday you can check them out here: instagram.com/jasondpage_lightpainter

Seems you face away from camera when whipping, but the final image looks like you are facing camera?

I am facing away. I see what you are saying it does kind look like I am facing the camera though.

I am not really a big fan of this techniqur since it doesn't really resemble smoke or fog. For me, i usually use an EL wire from amazon and just continously move it around for a bit to get the smoky effect. I think since it is a thinner wire, it appears more smoky than this one.

ElWire works really good for a smoke or fog effect as well! I do like it too, the only trouble I have with El Wire is that they tend to short out and break when you shake them around to create the effect. The Light Whip is much more durable and more versatile as you can add gels or a screw on color filter to make it any color where as El Wire is limited to the color that the wire is.
