Great guide. At some point I might try out sword's along with the spear and see how they work in some encounters. Just like with Dervla's some of these abilities are quite cool. Appreciate it.

Just for confirmation...if you have already unlocked the weapons but not the special ability...you'll need to ng+ the game to get the weapon art, yeah? unless reviving the boss with the new echo system can assist with that

Just as long as you can complete all of these steps in the video. If the light reaper has already been defeated and Issac wasn't summoned for that fight then you will have to wait until new game plus or new game 0. Summoning Issac's and defeating the light reaper is what unlocks the special. Other wise the swords will just do a chopping motion without the big explosion at the end

Great intro as always! That’s a crazy death scene at 3:05. Kind of crazy that you have to consistently lose to a boss to get a special rewards, in this case the Light Reaoer’s Special., sort of an odd thing to subject people to do.😛I will admit it’s a nice weapon art and wanted to ask that the music while fighting him is nice unless you changed it but either way it’s nice. I can’t remember where that tune is from but it’s old.

The whole games main theme is to be as tedious as possible 🤣 it's what the developers think is difficult and challenging 😁

Great update, on a different topic how has your pvp experience been so far on LotF 1.5? I can't complain personally though im sure there's the group of anti pvpers that just give up before trying, and as for the more experienced pvpers well welcome to LotF pvp it's far from the elden ring experience and may the odds ever be in the invaders favor, unless you're invading me lol

I haven't tried it since I did my batman build. Probably better at low level but around 145 it's just who can spam the fastest. I got invaded recently and got one shotted by a lightning arrow....twice 🤣 until they can fix that sort of nonsense it's not even worth the spam contest

@@mr.nobodyeldensouls yeah i understand though i don't think the player level matters as much currently, I've been on both sides of the fence and noticed i get different damage numbers depending on the invader even in my world at level 218 with a equal stat spread. Idk why, but i also haven't bothered checking into it really aside from the players weapon levels.

@@mrxxxmiseryg9388 they really have no leveling system to separate people. So you could get a regular Joe or a max level could pop in and clap your cheeks. It just depends on who invades that day. I hear it's less likely around level 70 tho

@@mr.nobodyeldensouls its been me and some of my friends experience that on xb we tend to get more invasions above level 150 than below or around "meta" levels. Of course as you said it's mostly luck of the draw, though it sucks to get nerfed when it's your world that's been invaded although i do agree invaders need some kind of balancing for their end. Though i do have a friend that has never been invaded in his games with pvp active in others games oddly enough.

Do they have to be +10 because i did everything here (i know because i unlocked the dark crusader) and the ability wont work?

Yes both swords have to be upgraded to plus 10. Every weapon that has a special attack has to be maxed out before it will work. And if the weapon comes in pairs like the daggers as well. They both have to be maxed out. It's kinda sucks that they make you do that. I got tired of all the grinding so I just had a friend drop a bunch of slabs so I could just upgrade anything I want. But with the new game plus modifiers you can add pre upgraded loot which is a lot better than having to pick what to upgrade
