Super effective and a fantastic end result. Getting massive memberberries around the red Dragon for the Elmore Dragonlance art. Not to mention a very large tip of the hat for Strong Bad style illustration, minus the consumate Vs

When it comes to dragons, the Dungeons and Lasers dragons are really nice - they go together really nicely and are a whole lot cheaper than the GW ones.

Who doesn't love dragons! Great way to circle back around to the Warhammers, this looks great! There's always an idyllic image in your mind when you come up with the idea for a diorama, and that always changes for the end product, because your imagination isn't burdened with the reality of gluing flock or adding texture. Like you say, done is better than perfect. Great job!

I think everything done in the last year away from Warhammer paid off on the return. Seems this piece was thought through from a new perspective and reinvigorated passion. Really great work! Side note, videography, outstanding as we have come to; not expect, but relish in. Really really great work all around.

Woot! What a video. Loved the intro. Your presentation is appreciatively quirky and relaxing. Oh, yeah. The dragons are fantastic! That glue gun end needs a thorough clean - ha ha. Great base painting technique starting @17:15 Breath design and painting look good. Dye maybe not strong enough for the fire effect? Like you said though, you need lighter colour at the mouth and through the hotter breath's centre core, with darker, deeper colours on the outside. Maybe painting the cotton in layers might have had a richer and saturated effect - faster for sure - no drying time. Thanks for your efforts!

I've been staring at Galrauch that lovley all metal chaos dragon. Gonna try assembling it for a 3rd time. Got power tools and 3mm piano wire this time. Along with 2 part resin. Hopefully it will stay in one piece this time. Plastic dragons look so much nicer to work with.

Such a gorgeous display at the end there. Dragons ARE cool. For those looking for a similar flight stand, but don't want to go to the trouble of scratch bashing it yourself, Deadly Print Studios sells dragon breath flight stands for precisely these AoS dragon models. Both as STL files and pre-printed stands. The pre-printed ones even come in transparent resin, so you could stick some LEDs inside if you're willing to drill into them.

17:40 ha! I’ve been considering the new AP Fanatic paints. My husband asked me last week if I’ve been buying new paint ranges and the old ones just go to waste. Until recently, the original AP paints were the only ones I used zero of. But while I’m working in the big arse annoying Loot Studios pirate ship, I’ve been using them up. Nice to see you using them for a similar purpose - large areas that don’t need good consistency paints 😂

Bloody fantastic work, those dragons are great. The stipple and glaze worked so well with the textures. Hats of to you for the effects too. Those GW dragons are very nice models, had a flash back to the Ral Partha Dragonlance metal ones I painted many years ago.
