I'm trying to choose between two rackets, one of them is an eva core 360 gr and the other a foam core 370 which one would you say is a better choice? I like the 370 one more from an aesthetically stand point of view but I don't want to decide based on that. The racket I'm using currently is above 400 grams, I know, crazy but It was a cheap one, now I want to try a lighter one so I'm figuring which one of these two should I get

everythingpadel.co.uk/product/adidas-rx300-padel-racket/ - this is a very balanced one. Easy to use!

I find it really difficult to believe that 10gr or less than 5% difference in weight can have alot of influence. Seems to me that the position of the balance point is the biggest factor.

I come from tennis and I still can´t understand why you guys say the lighter racquets are better on the arm. It´s exactly the opposite, its a matter of masses and physics, and heavier racquets, although harder on the arm in terms of physical afford its mass will decrease the reflect of the impact of the ball on the arm because it absorves most of the impact. It´s a must in terms of arm pain (tennis elbow) prevention. In my 40 years experience the middle term is the best, a slightly (medium) heavy racquet (in padel: 265g +- , in tennis 295, 300 g) with a medium balance because it still has the mass mas you can manoeuvre it. Of course this only applies to advanced players, beginners should start with a lighter more forgiving racquet, no doubt about it.
