This is the 4th Phase of the Avenues Mall - Kuwaits largest and most luxurious shopping mall. The scale of this place is enormous, according to Wikipedia The Avenues Mall is the largest shopping mall in Kuwait and the second largest mall in the Middle East. We filmed it in Kuwait's worst rain storm for years - they had a years rain in 24 hours and the next day everything was suspended including all the flights home!
We were really honoured to work on the lighting design of Phase 4B of The Avenues, alongside some re-designs of other areas from earlier phases. The architects were Gensler and they did a fantastic job of creating a really unique retail space. The lighting was supplied through Al Dhow and Khabari who both did a great job of delivering and installing the scheme.
