I am too as well 🤣 I'm now big into Linux os's and how to make it 'feel' (look) like Windows. Because I think Linux is the true winner here ;) and to think.. it all started with me rooting an old Android phone, then onto jailbreaking ios devices, then to chromebooks (even with Google locks 😎), next came python coding and now I'm here. 😅😅😂❤

I don't think you're alone...it's a feeling i can't explain when installing any new OS on device...i remember 1st time installing DWRT on a router then installing easytether on it so i could plug the phone and have internet for entire house without extra mobile hotspot...i remember feeling like i discovered a new planet hahaha

can i use the superlite version + defender for just working like using Office watching netflix , prime video ect or do i need to go with the compact version ? also , do we need to disable windows update ?

Defender only uses a higher % of your ram and cpu...it is definitely safer with defender...and no..no need to disable updates since it will limit some usage down the line if you decide to attach usb peripherals...updates make sure all drivers run properly

Do I have to reformat to use this or does this go in and just remove more things? I have a 2 pc setup. Streaming Pc/Gaming pc and i don't do anything on my gaming pc but game. And don't want anything else loaded but my gaming programs. I goat my processes down from 178 to about 84 processes. But my memory still uses 24%, 7.8 GB compressed. I want to get it down even more but have it safe of course.

based on your PC info this one should definitely work...i've installed it on 2008 laptop and it worked for me...it has only 4gb ram as well.

I think on the toolbox you can get Microsoft Store, plus i think you can get the Store from Microsoft itself too.

yes you will if you install it standalone, otherwise if your drive is already split into different sections you can install alongside other os...but most likely you will end up erasing everything so if not sure, better backup everything first.

I haven't tried ..if you mean to login on the main acct...nor have i tried app store either...because i dont usually use them...but i can try for you and let you know how it goes

I recommend just debloat your windows rather than installing any modified windows installations.

Just make sure your ssd doesnt have any files you need first...but yes you can install on SSD

i tried on 2gb rab and it was a bit laggy, i'd say 4gb ram is the lowest to make sense

if you select the option with "defender"..yes..it says "DEF"...while installing the windows version.

Will work but you need to install the one that says no defender...amd after you fully install it...open the folder extras...and click activate virtual memory...so you can utilize your drive as ram for a limited amount at least

@@OMNITEK Hey, ok I don't know if it's really malicious, but malwarebytes blocks the ghost toolbox due to Trojan. So nope, I don't trust it.

@@pikazap6672 i don't use Malwarebytes but i have no doubt it might raise flags, but it goes as always, beware of everything you download from internet....i installed mine on some older laptops and it has been working good so far...if someone is spying my secrets on it, i guess good luck to them hahaha
