Tim McCoy's westerns are the best for the early genre.I like the seriousness of his character and his movies.no slapstick goofing around.'

Dry good movie,,,,,it left a tear in the eye. Very enjoyable.

From 1936 this is one of Tim McCoy's earlier talkie westerns - it's interesting to have read in his 1976 book that he made several silent westerns...but where ARE those? Are any in existence? This film strikes me as one of his very best, in every way. His character had not become as rote as it later seemed to be - and it was ALWAYS excellent. This one has more complexity and shading in the writing, especially the later portions. The sentimental quality which can become too-sweet was honest and refreshing, something that makes for a fine film!

I love Tim McCoy films because...well, just because, I suppose...but this was a pretty good story to boot. Thanks PizzaFlix.

This is a fine film despite its' continuity mishap(s) eg at 10:17 the white horse rider has a glove on each hand, and he takes out a letter. As he reads it & you'll notice his left thumb on the letter. As he tears the letter he has a glove on each hand still. I know picky picky picky, unfortunately 'Continuity' is a pet peeve of mine. It was someone's job (assistant director?) to get it right.

I found it interesting that it ended with an early instance of suicide by cop.

Wow, this turned pretty dark.

This is a disturbing flick with bill killing the avenger who legitimately gave all the criminals of the posse and the vengeful sheriff a chance at the draw. All of them got what they deserved for hangin an innocent man! lightning bill does it himself all the time…calls out the crooks and has em draw. Bill ya done wrong!

At 30:28 The bad guys leaving out of the crowd just about ran over that woman standing behind them.

I really like Tim mcCoy old western's but this one was dark, I hated it because of the destruction of so many friendships, and souls. Evil is not good, and good is not evil, won't watch this one again.
