It's up to a tough US Marshall to save the day when Black Pete and his outlaw gang attempt to swindle a young woman out of her inheritance.
TRIVIA: Cowboy actor and stuntman Buddy Roosevelt (1898-1973) got a bad break in Hollywood. He was originally cast as The Cisco Kid in In Old Arizona (1928) but broke his leg before the shooting started. He was replaced by Warner Baxter, who went on to win an Academy Award for the role.

This whole movie was just too stupid for me! I hate scripts where the so-called hero is so dumb he makes you root for him to be shot. Then you add in a sheriff that would just take one guys word over the other guys, and let a dirty bandit get away while arresting the clean shaven clean cut guy. No sheriff could be so stupid that he would not hold both of them until he found out the truth. I absolutely hate it when the writers assume the audience will just accept poorly written scripts filled with stupidity.
