Box stock?! You didn't strain the sauce!? The idea of using a dutch oven is so it radiates heat onto the top of the food as it cooks to add extra caramelisation. Thats why you should cook this dish in the oven not the cooktop which only heats the liquid and doesn't add colour to the meat. Pretty average :(
