I am driving an 860. FULLY LOADED. I gotta admit at first I was against it. But now I'm spoiled arse rotten. I'm a company driver btw. This truck is strong and comfortable.

I spent a year in that plant as Mack production from Winnsboro moved there. Engines are same for both models and all come out of the Hagerstown, MD (Mack Powertrain) via a Roanoke prep plant to connect transmissions and options. I retired from them at 30 and out.

Forget the trucks and workers. Think of all the intelligent people that created ALL the manufacturing processes involved in that factory, designed and made the machine tools the workers use etc. A fine tuned engine and truck requires a lot of precision all across the board to make it all come together. Most of those workers are given a job that already was "perfected" for them. A luxury in today's working world.
