Lil baby unfortunately became a phenomenon during the pandemic because of how great a project my turn was to begin with, then how good the deluxe version was, and then of course everything lined up perfectly for him with the blm movement at the time and the bigger picture. He could’ve never lived up to that with this album and it’s showing that he waited way too long for another album and the quality wasn’t there. He sure felt like a superstar the way you’d see him in commercials on TV, and hear his songs being played on espn, but live shows are a whole other story
