I was born and raised in the church and while I personally have no intentions of buying devil shoes or anything I can empathized where Lil Nas X is coming from. Church people like to pick and choose which sins are hell worthy. I even had a debate with a friend of mine because she was sooooo upset and concerned for his soul and I asked when was the last time she ministered to a STRIAGHT non believer and she looked at me like I was nuts. Like m'am only gay people need to change their lives? Only they need to repent and be saved? There's all kinds of people doing all kinds of sinning. Either minister to them all or shut up and worry about your own soul. 🙄

Jehovah promised a new covenant to the people of Israel and Jesus came and taught the disciples how to receive his flesh and blood, being THE Passover Lamb for the world. God loves us so much, giving us a way to heaven! but we cannot get there practicing in ways Jesus did not teach. Sunday worship, Christmas, Easter are examples of Christian customs that can't be found in the Bible (because they crept into the church centuries after Jesus) and contain ZERO blessing for salvation. Passover is for those who practice Judaism and follow all the guidelines outlined in the Old Testament. Regardless of the name, it is important or Christian's to keep it in remembrance of Jesus and his sacrifice. I agree with everything else as a Sabbath keeping Christian.

I absolutely agree that it is a parent's responsibility to ensure that their children aren't listening or WATCHING inappropriate things. It is hard and time consuming but it is essential. My mother in law thought it was cute to have my 5 year old and her cousin to sing "Old Town Road" in which I explained that my daughter is not to listen to it or sing it as it is inappropriate. The hardest part is protecting her when she's not around my wife and I. Schools allow it at assemblies etc. and never realize how inappropriate it is.

Tastes aside, I can give him credit as a creative. Art is meant to evoke an emotional response so he's accomplishing that, which is what he wants. I wouldn't buy this (couldn't afford to if I wanted to anyway) but I'm not going to be offended by a shoe. Like Angel said, he's not taking this stuff seriously so I don't see it the same as truly "worshipping the devil" the way people think it is. I don't think it needs to be a "Christians up-in-arms" type of situation and I am a Christian myself. If anything, people shunning him by telling him he's going to hell for being gay and not loving him as a person is what drove him to this.

The amazing thing is they are trying to save you through the ministry of gospel comedy. Come on now you have to appreciate this. Kev is a genius he different and angel she’s unique. Plus taking on a topic like this little Nas X topic is really brave in these times. Most of these people who are not saved need to get their life right with God right now and try to save your soul and laugh your way into heaven by obeying God’s word.
