Melody is dramatic in the videos, they are visual depictions of the song, in live performances she’s not as dramatic. I’ve heard bands criticized for not having stage presence. BTW Liliac won an award for Best Original Song in a motion Picture for Sail Away. The Movie is an Independant Film called Cry Of Silence. I still think it might be a good idea to check out a live performance such as Mars (live in Cummings, GA) or Not Afraid (extended version) or Vertigo (Live in Woodstock, GA). If you choose Vertigo, you’ll see Melody crouch down during Sam’s guitar solo to untangle his guitar cords and then motion Ethan to move to the front to feature his bass part. Oh and she does some Mongolian throat singing during this song.

Styx had a song" Come Sail Away" in the 70s and Great White did one called "Sail Away"in the 90s it is neither, but it is brilliant. "A bit theatrical" said no one ever, especially in a video 😆 tell that to Alice Cooper, see his reaction 😆 This song is so amazing! ❤🔥🤘

This is my favorite song/vid to date by Liliac. I do enjoy most everything they have released. Of note, the first two songs you didn't enjoy have been covers, the last three originals. As much as I LOVE this song, it was not me that requested it, I requested Nothing. And Melody is naturally dramatic, that should not deter from anything since the dramatics have nothing to do with the songs. That's the reason I don.t pay much attention to videos unless they are exceptionally done, my primary focus is always on the music.

Funny thing to me is and I noticed it right away when I had caught up on everything they put out. I can put in their music and just let it rip. To me, there isn't a bad song in the entire discography. I have hundreds of CDs in my music collection and a growing collection of vinyl. I don't know any group in my collection that I can put in their entire discography, let it run and not hear a song I don't like. I have all of Billy Joels' stuff for instance. There are albums of his that I bought for 1 song. The rest of the album is meh to ick. Love Billy Joel; but, I'm not one of those guys you can count on to buy everything just because your name is on it. And I'm not a fanboy or groupy. There is literally only one artist in all the stuff I have that I posess a photograph of and that's Nena. And frankly, I love it and it's a prize posession because I'm an American fan and Nena goes out of her way for us American fans when buying from her European store. I have multiple autographed pics and postcards from her as a thank you note for supporting her work. And she happens to be a favorite of all the artists I listen to.. because of her voice. If I'm having a crap day, put on some Nena and suddenly everything is chill. She doesn't have to be the greatest of all time with that voice. At any rate, good reaction. It's fun watching you listen to these guys when you like them or you don't .. it's just honest. And as I said before, not every band nor everything put out by any band is everyone's cup of tea. I think we all have ecclectic tastes to one degree or another based on what we're used to. Took me a long time to get used to Queen enough to want to buy an album of theirs, yet my all time favorite song is "Who wants to live forever" by them. Was written by Brian May.. the astro physicist PHD of the group. The two things almost seem not to belong together but they totally do. Don't know how many copies of their greatest hits (blue) that I've given away over time to friends. Solid piece of work. Cheers!!

2 min in and your already saying you dont like her theatrics. Melody is very theatrical in her videos and live. You must like seeing emotionless statues. I already dont like your reaction, but i will watch until the end. Then decide if you are worth subscribing to.

This song is a masterpiece! In the Top 10 rock songs of the century. You could show some more enthusiasm for this great band and Melody who is the rock voice of a generation. I guess people like you lose perspective when you listen to crap like the Warming and Band-Aid all the time.

She does Dio well. But her voice is forced. She is desperately in need of vocal lessons to harness her natural talent
