I honestly think lily as a person is so caught up in herself that that’s all she talks about. She used to be fun and funny and relatable. But ever since this show aired, you can really see the big-headdedness she has. She could be more relatable with current events, but I think she would rather talk about herself, not what her viewers want to see.

Lilly isn't actually the first Woman of color to have a late night talk show. Wanda Sykes and Mo'Nique did it a long time ago.

NBC should have started Lilly on maybe a late night webisode. Something short, easy to edit, with relevant content so she could practice. The majority of late night hosts started in stand up or as new anchors so they're use to on the spot jokes. She's not. She's always been scripted.

It's not so much her unrelatability as it is her delivery and demeanor. She's had the exact same VERY CRINGY delivery of her jokes and condescending demeanor since episode 1 and that is what COULD make or break her IF she were smart enough to listen to the criticism and change it up a bit, but, if she hasn't done that by now then, chances are, she probably won't.

I had a friend in middle school who tried to fake DID to be sexual with me and my friends. It started with him making an Instagram to catfish me and when he finally told me it was him, he said he did it "because it was his alter". All of my other friends were being sympathetic and telling me I was an asshole for not supporting him. I knew from the start that this kid did not have DID. 1. He only had the 1 other alter, normally people have many. 2. He'd only switch over text, never in person, and yes you sometimes can bring out certain alters but this it's mostly uncontrollable, and for him to be around me fairly often you'd think he'd switch at some point. 3. His alter was strictly sexual, no other personality, didn't have a name for him, nothing. Just some random dude. Alters normally have a whole identity, yet he had nothing. This whole thing wouldn't have been a problem if he was just like Trisha and he wasn't technically harming anyone, but this kid made this alter so he could text me and my friends EXTREMELY gross, sexual, and explicit texts and then blame it on DID. It's gross that Trisha is faking it as well.
