The fridge fitting issue has caused me to accidentally leave spoiled food hidden between the fridge and the wall and go crazy trying to figure out why my Sim is smelling something weird.

Things that aren't in the vid but I want to add: 1. There's an infant onesie 2. Kids CAN help sell, they just can't use the appliances 3. The cookbook is functional!!!!

The tattoo especially is so real. I'm a chef, and I cannot tell you how common it is for culinary students to get a chef knife tattooed on their forearms. Same with baking students, they always always get a whisk. You don't even need to see a diploma. If Someone has one of those tattoos - yep, they went to cooking school. It's the most obvious and common tell.

I wish they would let us make our own premade outfits for CAS or let us favorite certain items because CAS has so much stuff these days it feels a little overwhelming sometimes

I feel like now is the time to make a Waffles family to be enemies/rivals of the Pancakes.

I love how in my country Mac and cheese in TS2 was translated as "hamburger with cheese" because the translators thought "Mac" stood for McDonald's Big Mac and seeing how the dish was always coming as a bowl of something instead of a burger is such a fun childhood memory.

Why did i get so excited to see Dory in CAS, like she's a celebrity 😅

I hope we get other small appliances in the future like toasters, blenders etc... also I wish they gave us a new microwave that actually fits this nice contemporary style!

I really like this pack and am SO thankful to see that they are back but still feel weird about them making a "European" stuff pack yet still having an American fridge and GRANITE countertop !!! It really was a missed opportunity because I feel like wood is much more popular right now and you rarely see granite in Europe (at least in France). They nailed the tiles though.

I love the sims developers but I am excited for the CC creators to make a pink swatch for the appliances, imagine the famous pink kitchen aid inspired mixer on your sim’s house!!! I can’t afford it IRL but my sim definitely can

This might be the only pack that I ever buy full price and not wait for a sale. It actually seems worth the 9,99€ and it feels perfect for the sims in my currently most played save. Also I love the Build-Buy! I have been considering buying Dine Out on sale for a while and using mods to fix it but this actually seems wayyy more like what I want my Sims to do. Thanks for the review. Your enthusiasm makes this such a fun watch.

Having Nordic food in the sims finally makes me really, really happy. I feel like I can finally make sims that reflect my own culture and how I grew up (aka eating smørrebrød...but make it waffles?) idk, the inclusion of gravlax and our lovely heart-shaped waffles we have just made me so, so, so happy. The small details count.

One of my biggest pet peeves is the fridges having huge gaps on both sides. I alt place stuff but then the cupboards don’t line up with the top ones and it’s annoying. So I’m VERY excited about the new fridge

These kitchen tiles are my literal bathroom tiles LOL I've been missing these in the game for a while now, the jungle adventure tiles are pretty but don't go with anything.

Fridges aren’t supposed to go right up against the wall because that’s where the very hot refrigeration coils are and putting it against the wall would burn your house down

Nobody seems to know that the pizzamaker is suppose to be outside? In europe we use a pizzostone for in the oven making and the pizzamaker, which works on wood or coals is going outside next to the bbq in a household 🤣

For those who didn't know, Lazlo Curious (the sim mentioned in the curious pizza description) is a sim from the Sims 2 base game! He's a knowledge aspiration sim, he lives with his 2 brothers and has a sister as well as 2 HALF sisters who were born after his dad was ubducted by aliens. His sister then married and had 2 kids with the SAME ALIEN who abducted his dad AND one of his brothers is also pregnant after being abducted by aliens. So that's why the pizza in this pack is an alien one!

I would really love if sims gurus would do like maybe every month or every few months they could introduce new food from all cultures/countries. I know it would be ALOT but it would educate people so much about other countries and their food. There are sooo many countries that people never heard of or don't know where it is (I'm from one of these countries where people ALWAYS ask where my country is). They could do surveys asking for what dishes people would like to see in game from (specific country). People would be so much helpful, wouldn't need to google what dishes where are, just what these dishes are.

So for me, yes this pack will be worth it. I love build buy stuff and that entire kitchen set is nice. But I'm 100% gonna mix this with the Cool Kitchen stuff.

This pack is European style right? Stainless steel appliances are more for commercial settings here, people tend to prefer white (cheaper options usually), black or anthracite or coloured appliances

I thought this would be the perfect chance to make Kitchen Counters have their own mini inventory, that you can store the appliances in, like how the fridge can only store food, rather then in the sims inventories. I feel like it make the kitchens just feel a bit more realistic

They wanted this kitchen set to be inspired by European kitchens (although every country in Europe has a different culture and different kinds of building houses/flats). So in order to do so, they had to make the fridges built-in, since this is a very common thing in Europe. Also, I thought this game comes out tomorrow, so did you get early access or did I mix something up? Because although it's almost 9 pm here, it's still the 27th 😅 Oh, and the thing with the dish washer is a proof for things being different all around the continent of Europe. Because in middle Europe (at least where I'm from) most dish washers fill in one counter. They're not all that small. It makes sense, though, since Ikea makes this kind of dish washer and the European team is from Scandinavia (Norway, Finnland and (you guessed it) Sweden (where Ikea is from))

I love the waffle maker we are getting. I have this joke going that Eliza is like always mad at Bob in pics and I have always said "calm down lady he just wanted waffles!." So now I seriously need to go in game tomorrow and make sure he finally gets his waffles.

I was really hoping they would go full ‘built-in’ appliances for this kitchen. It’s almost there, but not quite. Where I live (the Netherlands) it’s pretty much the only type of kitchen we have. This kitchen is really nice, but I’m still hoping there will be some more modern stuff. Like having a built-in oven and/ or microwave that’s situated on eye height. And built-in fridges and dishwashers that match the kitchen. Maybe have modular cabinets and shelves similar to Dream Home Decorator. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking

The fact that we have Nordic food in the Sims 4 now makes me so happy and excited! I can't wait to get this pack!

My only small compliment is theres no way to prep food without a stand mixer, theres no hand mixer or whisks and so foods that require preped ingredients can't really be made off the grid or in a small kitchen without space for appliances

11:09 soemthing they could do to combat this is that certain hairs with accessories that change colors you can have the clothes drop down menu for accessories color and the basic top hair color menu. Easy fix imo

One thing I will say. While I know it's not aesthetic for the fridge have a gap behind it, it IS realistic. Fridges need space for airflow, and the vents for intake and outtake are on the back. Which would explain the gaps in all of the previous models

i love love love the mixer!! it makes so much sense and is so convenient. i just wish they would've added a blender but it is still so good!

The small dishwasher is so weird to me, but I think that's just because I'm soooo used to seeing full sized dishwashers😂 it may take me awhile to get used to it or I may just never get used it, idk, it really just depends for me.

As soon as I saw the pack, I got it without hesitation lol. I love it. There are a few bugs though. 1) The sims stop tending the table whether free will is on or off, so its good to keep an eye on that. 2) If you have the appliances on the table, other sims will use them. If you only want to sell quality stuff, I suggest use them for yourself then put them in your inventory. Or you can let the other sims pay for making it then sell the normal quality food and get the profits🤣 Extra tip: I find that when the sim is tending the table, you can do some socialising, and flattering, complimenting and brightening days work really well to get sims to buy stuff. Basic socialising can help as well I think 😄

as a scandinavian, this pack is making me equal parts giddy and (embarrassingly) teary-eyed ! "things from sweden" in video games, but ive never seen "our" waffles !!! like this is the stuff my grandpa helped me make !!!! this feels so personal and im so beyond happy that the waffles come with proper scandinavian styles!!! the fish, the mushrooms, the lingon!!! its all just so freaking exciting!! this will most likely be my most used pack!!! (btw ive been trying to find a scandinavian cc build pack! like for the exterior! if anyone knows a good one - let me know!)

Everyone always complains about the fridge and the cabinets... but I've never lived anywhere with a flushed fridge so it's never bothered me. Normally my fridge has been free standing or just had one of the small/mini cabinets over the fridge.

I am really grateful that the team took a chance on europe and made something typically Suropean. We saw inspiration in japan, wild west etc. One thing really missing for me is something slavic inspired (Czechia, Slovenia, maybe Balkan etc.) and of course i would love to see an “african” world.
