This is our thing.
Hi dear ones, I hope you are safe and sound. Well now we all know how Lily and James felt when they were stuck in their home before their death. I know depressing, you are welcome. Well hope you are doing well, cause these past days have been crazy for me, so i made something that would make me happy. These two are the softest characters and their friendship is everything, ah i love them even more now. This is just "quick" edit ,but I hope you will enjoy it :)

I love how fans are caring and gentle with the fandom and creating this masterpieces like for free, without actually anything, while creating their own world and with great casting as I must add. When at the same time producers with directors having a resource, actors, setting and anything needed didn't even give us a proper marauders era. That's why I love free art and creative people so much! We love what we do and can create anything from nothing with only one source - imagination. Great edit!

In all these edits, especially this one, I always imagined that Lily figured out on her own what was going on between the four boys, how they were always gone one night a month, how Remus looked like a trainwreck, their very subtle references, the constant studying of books in the restricted section, that same bit of parchment, and the werewolf lesson. I liked how she went looking for them and they all got exposed because she was smarter than they thought

I'm late, but I headcanon that it's Lily that had a small crush on him when they were younger. However, since it was just a childhood crush, nothing happened and it faded away as she approached him as a friend and then sister as the years went by. That's just how I see it tho. I read ATYD's 1st to 3rd year and I got that impression even if ATYD's not official..

I just love Lily and Remus so much (and I also admire Sophie and Andrew as actors) because they both have that heart yet savage attitude with a brain as big as their hearts, lol. Their friendship was one of the biggest reasons I loved ATYD and the Marauders, tbh. One of my favorite BroTPs ever. Their friendship is just one proof that love is not just about romance and they proved that beforw Harry and Hermione did. No doubt, even if they're not into each other romantically, these two love each other and it's very beautiful yet tragic in some sense. Lily to Remus was like how Gwen Stacy is to Peter Parker.

i never realised how much i needed a full visual of their friendship until now. thank you for this!! it brightened up my day right away and that's exactly what i needed today. -sigh- you know, i always sit around thinking about how lily found out about remus and how she must've been there for him in a way the others couldn't and i just break my heart all over again. their friendship feels so underrated sometimes. hopefully this is a step to a whole new direction and we may see more of them

Oh this made me so happy! I'm currently re-reading the series since I'm in quarantine and just reliving the Marauders friendship, including how everyone loved Lily, is just as magical as when I first read it. And this video just warms my heart so much! You did a brilliant job with the editing, the music choices, the types of dialogue you chose to include, and with everything else! I hope you make more HP videos in the future, because this and your Black Flies video are just masterpieces.

I'll just say this, my fiancée and I are writers, and we often times write our own little AU's for all types of canon, including the Marauders fandom. This video has inspired some of our most beautiful writing because it allowed us to explore a "what if" scenario in which Remus and Lily actually ended up together. It just made sense, given that Lily felt like the gravitational center of their little universe, and what was just a fleeting crush (I feel like they all had that thought, canonically, even if for a moment), became a beautiful partnership. I know it is an unusual ship, but either way, it is a labor of love, and your video made it possible. So, I just wanted to thank you.

oh its so beautiful, there is no words, i love how you showed their friendship. the tone was so nice like a calm before the storm type thing (love it) , the editing amazing, the song choice perfect, i could feel that friend love. this is honestly how i feel about their friendship but i could never put it into words, "this is our thing" just about sums it up nicely. your video was like a kiss to the forehead, and that video description was like a knife to the heart. so well done on both accounts.
