This was supposed to be simple 2 minutes long video, just little justice for Jily, well...the situation has changed.
First thing I want say is big thank you! I'm still amazed how you guys liked my latest Marauders video! I never ever experienced something like this! So many beautiful comments! I can't thank you enough! It really means everything to me! So take this video as little gift for you. And also 4K subscribers? When did that happen? AGAIN THANK YOU!
I'm glad I found some time to edit at least this video, honestly I feel like I was only having mental breakdown these two months. But hey I had two bad months so now it's time for two good months, right? Hopefully I will be able to edit more.
I wanted to portray Marauders and their relationship with Harry and how things were before that horrible night and how much impact left that on Harry and others who survived.
Also I showed you little bit of Marlene's story. You cant imagine how long I waited to show you these scenes between Marlene and Lily! You can see i added that part with Harry and Ron, so you could see parallels. It was difficult times and both sides were stressed out. Imagine that fight between Lily and Marlene could be their last moment when they saw each other. And then their phone call, they apologize to each other and say their final goodbye- not knowing that this is their last time (but little bit Marlene knows). Yeah, I like pain.
I revived my old twitter account so we will see how it works ( Im not good with social medias) , but if you want to ask something or just talk you know where to find me :)

the thing is, is that i ABSOLUTELY love this specific fan cast, sophia as lily, adam as severus, aaron as james, ben as sirius, andrew as remus, dane as peter, alicia as marlene, katie as bellatrix, but my BIGGEST pet peeve is when people forget to include peter in the edits. yes, he betrayed them and no one likes him, but whether we like it or not, peter WAS a Marauder, and a big part of everyones lives.which is why i liked this edit so much, we get to see peter pettigrew and his struggles and his friendship. it was amazing

The characters of James, Sirius, Lily, Remus and Peter deserved so much more. Both in their underused and poor movie world depictions but also in the tragic stories that each of them had. You have done each of them justice by creating this seamless piece of art that you should be mega proud of

yes, I totally agree .. by aging everyone up to their mid thirties (or older, Severus), the movies really failed to capture the heart-wrenching sadness that almost everyone died before their mid twenties . . !!!!

@@lynnm6413 Snape was a huge stretch, but only Alan Rickman could have done so well. It makes sense Remus, Sirius, and Peter look older due to their circumstances but Lily and James in photographs could have easily been younger actors while Harry would see them older in the mirror and forest.

this is by far the most haunting, touching, thought-provoking, and heart wrenching Marauders video I've seen. this is incredible - and the way you highlight Harry's similarities to his parents...another commenter said they felt like they had discovered Harry Potter for the first time again, and for me this video has allowed me to rediscover my love for it. thank you for sharing this amazing video ❤️ and happy halloween!

The title didn't lie. The part where Dumbledore was speaking to Peter was really what made me feel sympathy for him. This video was truly a pleasure to watch and it was brilliant in every way possible. The fact that you explored more into the Potter family and friends showed your dedication and I love you for that. When the last scene started fading to color, it was a moment of silence and contemplation on my behalf; a fading away goodbye from all the black and white we see. You're an artist of story telling, and this is your masterpiece. (As well as all your other videos).

The title is right. This did destroy me. I can’t describe in words how beautiful a few of these scenes were. The scene where lily is talking to serious about love and Sirius/Remus scene that followed ?? It just, I don’t know but it had such vulnerability. The scene where Lily asks who died? The scene where James goes down to his certain death always gets me. The scene where Sirius says, “Nice one, James!” And there’s an immediate scene cut to James hugging Sirius. The scene with Harry trying to reach out to his mom. And those shots of every time someone has described how Harry looks just like his father except his eyes. Just this entire video was so beautiful it literally tore my hart to a million pieces

I can't even begin to describe how I feel right now. I'm a big fan of harry potter and I love the marauders era. Gosh, I want prequels so bad. In my unpopular opinion the marauders era it's much more interesting than harry potter himself, the wizarding war, the betrayals,the friendships,etc. It's a wonderful story, I love it and I love your video. All your videos are well edited and i think you're really talented but you also have a great taste in music. Have a good day and thank you so much

I completly understand how you feel. I think that the whole history of what led to everything that happend in the books (marauders era; Tom Riddle; first wizarding war with grindelwald; Voldemorts first uprising) is much more interesting. I'm not saying that I don't like the books or Harry as a character but I always loved the marauders more than Harry, even Marlene McKinnon who was barely even mentioned. I'm just saying that there is so much we don't know about the marauders and I would love to just hear more of their story, of how they met, the tricks they did and the friendships that were made.

Sina Celine ahh, i agree - we are all so immersed in harry’s era that we completely forget about the marauders !! there is so much that we don’t know - i mean think about all the details and stories of harry’s school years - we could have that much knowledge of the marauders !! and this is by far one of the main reasons i absolutely adore the harry potter universe and the books and movies - it is a whole world on the same scale as ours and it inspires so much creativity and fantasy !! i just love it so much - more than any other fantasy world - and there is so much we can create and know and discover and half the time we only ever even think about harry’s time - like hogwarts has been around for 1000 years - isn’t that incredible to think that each and every person who attended the school through the years would have stories and experiences that we don’t even acknowledge because it wasn’t in the time of the books and movies. ^^ wow i didn’t mean to write that much😂 but i just love it so much and find it so interesting because there is so much there that it never gets old❤️

Apart of me being torn between want it or not cause we know their tragic end. I really love lily & the marauders (exp peter 🙃), but IF i see their smiley face, their laughter, their happy time knowing what would them end up to, I CAN'T 😭😭 The marauders story is was my touchy subject, it can easily make my eyes flood with tears 😢😭

I don’t even know where to start... I wish I could properly comment but I’m overwhelmed by this masterpiece. I feel like after this video there’s no need to ever make a marauders video because this is it. This is the best one. This is perfect and heartbreaking and the most moving marauders video out there. OH MY GOD I'M SOBBING, because it was october 31 somehow i searched to see if there was any new james&lily video AND I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST FOUND THIS, it was perfect, i loved how you managed to sink the dialogues so perfectly, that one part about Peter really broke my heart, many people hate him but i actually feel really bad for him and the way he ruined his life like that. Also i'm dying every time i see adam driver being casted as young snape because i think it's just SO PERFECT, 11/10. amazing video

I can't decide which parallel is my favorite: 1. Sirius hugging Harry and it goes back to him hugging young Remus 2. Young Remus screaming and then Harry screaming 3. Young Remus and young Sirius standing side by side and laughing then to older them sitting together at the table There's so many others that are good, but these really got to me.

This is such a masterpiece. It has touched every part of my heart. I find it so crazy but at the same time so beautiful, how much these characters, these people, mean to us. Just by portions of them in the books and movies, we have grown so close to them and they mean the world to us. This video really took my breathe away. The way everything is put together is just perfect. Thank you for creating this, the emotions i feel right now can't even be described.

I’m crying at how wonderfully put together this is. I love Harry Potter but i was never invested in learning more about it other than the books and movies them selves, this shows a whole other side of the wonderful world of Hogwarts, wizards and witches and this beautiful video has really opened my eyes to it :)
