That's part of ANY dance or performance audition process. You are expected to come trained & proficient in the artform. Not being called into the office infers that Judy & Kelly are responsible for handholding these assumed professional dancers through the process. Coddled & Entitled society we are.

I wouldn't be surprised if she was having hardcore anxiety. They should have told her sooner along with telling her what she is doing right as well. When you give effective critique you usually say at least one positive thing so the person know what to keep

So right. I was really peed off that they called her in, reeled off a list of issues then cut her and it was her first time in the office. If there are things that are wrong and they haven't told her, how can she improve?!! "We keep getting these comments..." Yeah, YOU got them and you didn't pass them on to Lily!! (Sorry, I seem to be more annoyed than I realised.)

Honestly I’m always so confused how so many people vouch so hard for Lily because she’s “one of people’s favorites” just because everyone loves her personality… y’all always act like she was done so wrong by getting cut her second year. But y’all don’t have the ability to look at it from a technically trained dance perspective. As someone who grew up in a dance studio, I was always surprised that Lily ever made the team to begin with. She always struggled with timing, and she did make memory mistakes a lot so idk why you would say she “knew the choreography perfectly”, and she dances with so much tension in her shoulders and her face that it makes her uncomfortable to watch, and it makes her look awkward trying to perform the DCC style. Almost every single guest choreographer that came to training camp said that Lily looks tense and awkward and struggles with projection. It took her years to make the team, and she still barely made it in 2019, and then was immediately out-danced by incoming rookies her following veteran year in 2020. From a dance perspective, she’s just not strong enough for the caliber that the DCC’s are at now. Honestly I think they showed mercy on Meredith and Lily in 2019 and allowed them to make the team that year because they both tried so hard and were so well-liked, but then we see that that doesn’t end up working putting girls on the team just because they’re “favorites” because they were both cut pretty early on the following year in 2020. There’s just too many girls trying out these days that are much stronger candidates from a technical dance perspective. I just never understand how everyone always makes claims about who does and doesn’t deserve to be cut when y’all don’t have the skill set to actually judge their dancing from a technical standpoint lol

I think one of the reasons everybody felt bad for Lily was because a lot of girls had several office visits and didn't get cut Lily had none and on first office visit she got cut witch was totally wrong but she took it and came back the next season bigger and better. Just my opinion.

The cult following knows how hands off Kelli and Judy are. It's mostly the work of the vets and assistants.

That is what got to me is that KELLI CHANGED THE UNIFORM FOR HER. Kelli said she had never changed the uniform for anyone before.

Meredith is actually a great dancer. She just needed time to adjust to a totally different style of dance. She has also danced professionally and has great technique. I wish people would do their research before doling out insults. She busted her butt to get on that squad. And they were right about Lily. She looked sullen and needed to look like she was enjoying herself while performing. They are the directors NOT you. They have been in their job positions for YEARS. Do you have that experience? No. Let's leave it to them to decide who gets to wear the DCC uniform.

@@heatherramsey9190 She was constantly behind, struggled to pick up choreo, messed up media and the cameo shoot, and people who went to games said she was still behind. Worst for mine, on several occasions when she was behind she wouldn't finish the routine. She's probably a very fine dancer, but she had no place on this team.

@@sandranorman5469 I don't think they changed the uniform for her. They just adjusted it because the vest was really long, and her torso was short. They always make adjustments to the measurements of the uniform for everyone.

It's crazy. Yes, maybe her face is frozen, but if it's frozen in a smile, the crowd won't care! But you know what the crowd WILL notice? Someone who's constantly off beat, late, struggling to handle choreography... *coughMEREDITHcough*

She has an underbite and that makes her jaw tense. Not too sure what she could do about it other than try to learn some smiley facial expressions. Also, instead of keeping her chin up, she tucks it down and that gives her "glarey" eyes.

From the stands how can anyone even notice her expression, unless she doesn't smile at all. As a dancer, I definitely understand a frozen face. If I have to concentrate too much on my steps my face gets frozen. If I am dancing something that is not technically difficult I relax. Experience makes a big difference.

I am literally disgusted she was cut again. I think Lily was an asset to the team and could have been a group leader at some point if she had been on the squad longer. I pray whatever's next for Lilly will be a great opportunity and am glad she was able to be on the team a year.

Just wonder why when the old Cowboys Stadium had 60,000 seats and there were 36 cheerleaders. Now AT&T stadium seats over 100,000 and they still have only 36 or 37?

@@sandranorman5469 just because they have more seating for fans doesn't mean the room for which they have to perform is any bigger. Trying to fit nearly 40 people on a sideline with players, coaches, trainers and media is quite the task.
