ARMLESS pilot Jessica Cox proved her disability was no barrier to finding true love with husband, Patrick. Five years ago the inspirational 32-year-old became the first female to fly a plane with her feet. And she also became the first armless black belt in the American Tae Kwon Do Association. But closer to home Jessica shows how she has adapted to life without arms - thanks to her fierce independence.

I believe I saw her in a book they gave me right before my recent amputation. The picture of her piloting. Gave me hope and courage in a dark time. Such a beautiful thing.

Hayley Babin "imagine the amazing things she'd accomplish WITH arms ???!" That's when you went wrong. That'd probably be extremely offensive if you just went up to the girl with no arms and said, "CAN YOU IMAGINE THE AMAZING THINGS YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH WITH ARMS?" Noting she can't accomplish those "amazing" things with no arms.

It is so so important for parents of disabled children to still put their kids in sports and other activities! If you teach them that they can do anything that everyone else can do they will do incredible things

its so emotional for me to see this because she has her difficulties but she perseveres and doesn't give up, sometimes that hard for normal people to do so although I don't know her, it makes me proud to know that she believes in herself and has a lot of motivation and hope within herself.

Yeah but we must not forget that she was born without arms, so it's a lot easier for her to learn how to use her feet compared to someone that lost their arms later in life.

I'm reading these comments. And I'm thinking this world is so messed up. People r making jokes of her and making rude remarks. Whoever makes a joke or laughs at her, etc. is plain messed up!!!! This society is so messed up. Just ugh...😒😒 And congrats to the girl in this video. With no arms. Ur a amazing person. And such a inspiration😇

Everyone is not super serious. If that was the case thered be no comedy. I agree people shouldnt LAUGH at her, but the ones making jokes are judt finding the silver lining in the case, and to make people laugh. I got a 1.8 my first semester in college (was 3.7 or higher all through high school). My parents were PISSED and made it known!!! My uncle called and said, "Well... did you at least have fun?" I laughed and said hell yea! He responded well now u had ur fun, so its time to get back on the books. Hes the comedic one in the family. Point is, there are people in the world that say jokes to ease the frustration/seriousness of it all and make it a bit easier to bear.

Her pilot's license is not the same as a commercial license and doesn't require flight school, just private instructors and hours of flight training.

I was in a FedEx in Tucson when she walked in. I was blown away at how effortlessly she used her legs to take her bag off of her shoulder, grab a package from the person at the counter and walk out like nothing! Then she got into a car and drove away...I was SPEECHLESS....that is when the folks at the counter told me she flew planes!.
