As some of you may know, there is an anti-cheat for LIMBO that prevents you from pausing at the end by forcing on holding a d block wave to the ceiling as the rest of the keys shuffle, forcing you to go the easy way and do it legitimately, some other people have found a way to bypass said anti-cheat by pause buffering, but what they don't know is that there's a bigger surprise waiting for them at the end.

All the endings we have now: -The True ending when you somehow manage to take the correct key and to beat the level (pro😎) -The Bad ending when you take a wrong key (average person I guess) -The Bgram ending when you die at the wave before you even get to the last part (gotta improve the nerve control) -The Trick ending when you lose the key during the scramble but you still guess it by random chance (Go play lucky draw NOW) -The Hehe Boi ending when you pause the game to look at a replay (cheetah) -The "Pick your key coward" ending when you don't release to get any key (dumb?) -The Failed Hacker ending when you try to pause but you die into the spike of the anti-cheater (git gud) -The Pro Hacker ending when you pause before the pillar and you understand what is the correct key without activating the anti-cheater (genius) What next?

Right but I don't understand what the dude in the twitter post did to cheat. I don't see anything other than he paused the game for a second at the pillar for some reason, I have no idea what that does or how that helps to find the key.

Seeing this, I thought of like making a 2 player dual and having 1 player hold down continuously while the second player did the wave. But then realised it would mess up the rest of the dual gameplay in the level

in 2.2 this would be possible because you can choose if you want your dual to be 2 player or not, but sadly currently it isn't possible

I think I asked this on another video, but what if you pause and unpause at 0:44 right before the pillar? Does it still trigger the anticheat?

No, but it would be pointless because the keys continue shuffling WHILE you're inside the anticheat, forcing you to do it correctly, and the cheater cheats because they are unable to follow the key in the first place, so having the task of following it suddenly would be beating the level legitimately...if they can

@@mindcap. it's definitely not pointless, as if the player pauses right before the pillar and looks back at the video to find the key's current position, then they don't have to concentrate on both the keys and the wave at the same time anymore, which would make the ending much easier.

fwiw i wouldn't support anyone beating the level that way, just personally think this kind of feature isn't worth making the end of the level so anticlimactic when it can be cheesed either way, that's all

Basically, there's a touch trigger right after you're holding. When you touch while you're "stuck" in that pillar, that death thing is activated. (It's actually easy to see that) If I'm wrong, comment anyway

There is still a problem because its easy to pauze before that part, there is a way to make it impossible to pauze in that part completly, but its a bug and it might be fixed in 2.2

pause before the pillar that activates the anticheat, look at the footage, follow the key, find where the key is, unpause and boom, follow the rest of the key's path without worrying about the wave part. you are welcome

you mess the key path even after looking at the footage because you can lose it while it still plays, you cant save yourself after pausing on a real attempt because of a high speed wave so there is a risk of failure, on the off chance you do manage to cheat you will be made fun of by everyone for doing it that way. you are welcome

@@mindcap.Can't you hold up next to that arrow thingy and pause so once you've looked at the footage you unpause and your wave falls down longer so you can go up and choose the key. Idk if I missed something

@@Drippy_2this works by using a touch trigger... The trigger activates when you click and/or release. When you pause, it releases your input in the level, activating the touch trigger and the anti-cheat.

the touch trigger has a "hold mode" - you usually release when pausing so it gets (de-)triggered
