@@altamaszarar3785 for those who never heard Japanese song, it's cringe for them. I mean even when I started watching animes(6 months ago) the openings felt really cringe for me but these days I listen those songs in loop. These days really love Japanese songs. To be honest, when I listened English songs for first time it was cringe for me 💀. But not anymore. So I guess understandable for those people call it cringe but some people just hate it for no reason 💀. That's what I hate most. Edit: - grammar + sorry for the bad English.

I'm just a layman. Probably because English and Japanese have distinct rhythm and flow and phonetics. For example, iambic pentameter, weak and strong forms, stress emphasis and so on in English. While Japanese have way less clustered consonants and some words are distinguished with pitch. edit: pitch instead of tones.
