Long Term Review of my RARE Limited Edition 2006 Honda CBR1000RR! (Fireblade).
It is a very lengthy video, but very descriptive in all the modifications I've made to this amazing motorcycle in the last 18 months.
I also discuss how the bike was damaged at the motorcycle shop, but luckily those guys were awesome and everything is now good to go! Please let me know what you guys think about this video.

I actually just bought a 2006 cbr1000. Same color with a yoshi exhaust also! Power commander and 520 chain conversion and sprocket tooth changes. Love mine! Sweet bike. Like the headlights! Ride safe

Damn, i just love the undertail exhaust, when i buy my sports bike it has to have undertail exhaust.

I hear ya Johnathan! Good luck though because most manufactures don't make undertail exhaust anymore. I think the CBR600RR and MV Augustas are they only ones that still make new undertail exhaust bikes.

I've got a black 07 CBR1000RR. Love this bike. Best bike I've ever owned. I bought it in April of 2018 with 18,000 miles on it. 21 months later I'm at 36,000 miles so I ride "alot". Next bikes gonna be a Hayabusa but I'll never get rid of my CBR.

My man i got a 06 cbr1000rr i cut my exhaust off near the kick stand and put a 3inch slip on tip and its sounds so much deeper and better cars can hear you before they see you 👍🏿🔥🔥🏍

Ive always loved the color scheme on that bike, almost bought one a few times. Im too much of a R1 fan so i never pulled the trigger. Will for sure get one when its old as fuck and i can get a mint one for a couple grand lol.

The R1 is an awsome bike man! I don't blame you for not pulling the trigger yet on the CBR. It's getting tougher and tougher everyday to find this model in excellent condition though. Mine was a rarity on how clean it was. Good luck my Friend!!

I don't think so. It might have been the lighting. The finder does "poke" out some on each side of the front fender. Thanks for watching!

Is the 05 Repsol edition the same as the 06 or is there major changes?

There was slight changes in the fairings and tune of the engine between the ‘05 and ‘06-‘07 generations. Can’t go wrong either way though. Honda = Reliability

LOL. That's actually something I never though about. I usually film my vids from the non-kick stand side, so maybe I subconsciously wanted to change it up a little. Great observation though, I'll keep it in mind for future vids!!

The yellow is a pale match for the blue , orange or gold, even green and or outline graphic might look better , but red is Honda's colour anyway ? , .

she is sexy as hell! I agree that the fairings on this bike can hang in there with the newer model bikes. The powder coating job is freaking amazing! If you can powder coat the swing arm, I think that would bring out the Wolverine even more. Beautiful bike thanks for sharing brother! BTW I have 7 extra third eye LED lights if you want a couple I can send you some on me just let me know. check out my last video if you want to see how bright they are compared to H7 LED headlights

Thanks Brother! Your bike also has the look and paint job to hang with the newer bikes too. A couple of viewers have actually said the same thing you did, "Power coat the swing arm"! I am considering coloring it black like yours. The 2006 CBR1000RRs all came stock with silver swing arms. I'll let you know if I ever need an extra third eye LED! I appreciate it man!

Man, people try too hard to match colors on their bikes and cars for that matter, throwing accents everywhere like it's nobody's bidnit! It's plain cheezy and shows they really don't know taste (subjective yes, but not really). Not saying you but the previous owner who did all that corny color matching Fast n' Furious super combo werd up live my life 1/4 mile at a time stuff to it. Gnome-sayin'?

Nope, usually people add an aftermarket one, easy install, healtech make one and TheHeroRR has a video on it, also many other youtubers, just search gear indicator for cbr and you'll get what you want
