Limits of BlueFin Tuna on Aztec Sportfishing Nov 1-4, 2023 3-day trip

Chartered by Andy, we did a 3 day on the Aztec out of Seaforth Landing. First time on this charter, met many new faces. Wasn't wide open, but we were able to get limits. Lots of casualties as we primarily fished 25lb/30lb leader and size 2 hooks all 3 days. When you got them on anything heavier, which was only twice for me the entire trip, I pulled like no other.

Yewwwwww. Man wish I was on this trip. I was on the Aztec the week after and the generator died on the way out. You guys killed it. Miss fishing with you and your crew.

Another fine video. Have not been on the Aztec before. Looks like they handle their business well. Good group of guys, good wx and good fishing. Hard to beat that. I love my Penn 16 VISX. It does work. Excited to see what 2024 has in store for us. My 1st trip is 3 day in late April. Tightlines!

Thanks Lee! They're a fun crew for sure. Always about having a good time and catching fish is the boon. Which boat will you be on in April! good luck, that's exciting, I'm eager to get back out again. Already missing the sea especially after finishing and reliving this video.

Oats is a good and entertaining cook. Love the crew but I can’t stand the bunk arrangements on the Aztec, it is so cramped and tight. I feel like a packed sardine in a can.

Love the boat and crew, they def keep it entertaining. I still like their layout since it's staterooms where I can keep my bags below. Only two nicer ones I've been on is Polaris Supreme and Islander, but the price difference explains it. Which boats do you prefer or recommend? Thanks

Both Oat and Ryan are awesome. Definitely gets packed on open party makes it tough, anything more than 22 get a bit tight

@@Seastheday88intrepid is my first choice, if tier 2 boat pacific Dawn, for 2 days or more they only run untra light loads at 17 guys. New lo Ann is also a great boat. But tier 1 boat is intrepid, I would skip out on the royal star. Boat is showing its age with the constant flooding.

Both those boats are still on my list to go on. We had a limited load and I was bunked with all familiar faces. Worked out perfectly and had a great time. Look forward to more Aztec trips and def other boats to try 👍
