I miss Limp Bizkit too. Being 33 and growing up listening to their early shit, to a lot of naysayers complaining about the lyrics and everything else, that wasn't what this band was about. Fred admitted himself that they don't take themselves that seriously and it's about the fun of it and sounding cool... Limp Bizkit had some of the sickest concerts growing up, they were amazing to see. Maybe they didn't have the staying power ppl wanted 'cause of that but it was FUN times back in the MTV generation, it was fun snowboarding and listening to their shit getting ready for Hockey games, good times.
@ikon82756 жыл бұрын
Jarryd Berkness I remember seeing them in CT and the always closed the show with nookie and confetti was raining down, and everyone was going bullshit, there was just pure Electric in the air... looking back some of the stuff seems corny , but in that time frame, thier concerts were something special and amazing.

Julien .B SHUT UP U BIG HATER!!! Poor Fred. People often look down on him, and view him as this douchebag. What if you were a loner all of your life, and knew nothing of real socializing? Imagine how you would feel once you had hit international fame. He went crazy, because it was the first time in his life that he was accepted, and had followers. He took it a little far obviously; but come on, anyone in Fred's situation would have probably done the same. I know I would go crazy if I hit fame the way they did. I would probably be hated in no time also. Fred is a real intelligible guy, it's a shame, people judge him based on his past actions, when they know nothing of the real man he actually is.

Okay so is everyone just going to ignore that Limp Bizkit can still keep there sound fresh and strong after so many years? This sounds like it was made in 1999 but they were able to keep that sound ten years later with the same energy that's musicianship at its best.

The last time I saw them in concert (couple 4 years) they played all older stuff. Nothing off GC or Unquestionable Truth (part 1) nothing but oldies... honestly I loved it but I want to hear new music live as well... been limpin with the bizkit since 3 dollar bill.

Funny how LB is the only Nu metal band that decided to stay themselves and not go with trends... All the other bands of that era "experimented" and "evolved" into sound/image that is audience friendly today and LB is like "Nah... We do us". I kind of respect it.
@MrCaquita233 жыл бұрын
Sevendust kept doing nu metal even after 2004 too. But sometimes it's not that artists follow trends, most of the times they just want to produce something different.
