What pisses me off is how critics labeled this as “misogynistic”. As if men can’t express their feelings of being mentally and physically abused by their girlfriend/wife. Fred’s feelings were valid and I, as a man who left a mentally abusive relationship, relate to this song. It’s okay to sing about toxic femininity. This song is a masterpiece 🤘

This right here was when Limp Bizkit had their formula down to a T. It's prefect. Fred was so genuine, Sam and Jon were so tight, Wes was as naturally eccentric as one could be without forcing it (not to mention the hammer-on tapping that made me love him), and Lethal was subdued and integral (the way Delgado is in Deftones). I saw them last May and hung out with them; they STILL put on an amazing show and are still very personable. But, man...this was what got me on the bandwagon a good fifteen years ago.
@adan23749 жыл бұрын
Yeah man the three dollar bill era was a completely different LB, and even though I do like some of their later material, nobody can touch their old school shit. There is a reason they became really famous really fast, and it's because they were undeniable. I still get goose bumps to this day when I play LB tracks like Pollution, Stuck, Nobody Loves Me, and Clunk. I can't even put into words how much I admire their first album, because for me it's hard to express, but I love it when I come across someone like yourself who I think really understands what I'm talking about. Anyways like you said this was the time period where the LB formula was perfect.

jeFF Fury - love those albums. Unstoppable was a throw back to the rawness of $3 - unfortunately that was a turbulent time for the re-emergence of Wes and the band - and I think it draws up many bad memories within the band and they do not really care for the album. They may play a song live here and there but they don’t hold it with high regards (at least critical acclaim)

@adan23749 жыл бұрын
***** Never really liked the bald look on Fred, nor the big ugly beard I've seen in some recent interviews. It's not that I don't dig the look, just not on him. I think he would look best if he shaved and wore the backwards cap look, kinda like when he came on the Chelsea Lately show. I remember seeing Fred for the first time in a while during that interview, and thinking how he looked like he was doing really well, especially at his age. It reminded me of the old Fred Durst you know...
@taylorabdon8569 жыл бұрын
***** Adam Lambert Plus he dyes it nowadays so it has that weird, fake black color... can't help being bald though lol. Guess the cap does hide it pretty well.

Hows that my favorite is fred with the ball cap well i am kind of dissagreeing with you..!
@adan23749 жыл бұрын
Ryan Beers Definitely can't go wrong picking Fred's signature look, aka the classic red Yankees cap worn backwards, along with a black T-shirt, green/tan cargo shorts, and some awesome skateboarder shoes lol. That was the image that originally got me into their music, back in high school. Even though I didn't start listening to LB until late 2007, I always felt some of their music was just timeless you know, and I later found out that the red ball cap was the look from the Chocolate Starfish era, back when they were at their peak of fame and success, around 2001-2003 or so...
@paisteuser069 жыл бұрын
Adam Lambert i can remember from 2000-02 that classic "Fred" image spread like wild fire amongst the jocky fratboy dickweeds. Not calling you that by any stretch but you had have that douchy mentality back then to honestly sport that look with confidence.
