Thanks for all the birthday wishes! Glad I’m able to share a video with you today, as preggy as it may be.
I’m 39 y/o today. Can you believe it? I still feel as weird/immature/out of place as ever, but I guess that’s just the way the story goes. 😵💫
I’m in Israel, haven’t visited my family in 3 years and with my luck they’re on the verge of a war 🤦🏻♀️ I didn’t let it stop me tho, I even went to the beach! the water was perfect, but we did have to leave abruptly upon hearing missiles explosions near by. Was worth it tho… the beach wasn’t over packed and we were able to find parking really easily as most people chose to avoid the outdoors. it seems things have simmered down now .. just when we’re about to go back to LA 👍🙄
But anyways, check out the new video. It’s possible the drums are a bit too loud in the mix. And it’s possible I over played it, but considering this was one of two takes I think I did pretty good.
Moving forward I might need to find a lower volume setting to spare the developing ears of the baby - Evans sent me lower volume cymbals. I’m waiting to do an unboxing video so I haven’t checked them yet, but I have high hopes 🙌

Dude, that summer dress and your big gorgeous smile, you couldn't get any less attractive. Except those huge-ass ankles. I mean, you must've been in the navy with those friggin' anchors. But, you know, my mom always said that if I couldn't say something nice, then to say nothing at all. So...leg warmers. That's saying something nice. That way, the leg warmers will cover up those big bratwurst ankles you be slingin' around!

MEYTAL FYI! IMDb info is,: Did you know Trivia... Meytal Cohen (born August 9, 1984) is an Israeli-American drummer and one of the founding members of the American heavy metal band Meytal. She was born in Ramat Gan, Israel and is the youngest of seven children with four sisters and two brothers. Her parents were born in Iraq. Her father died when she was 7 years old, when a drunk driver crashed while he was standing on the sidewalk. She studied tap dance and graduated with a theater major from Blich High School in Ramat Hen. At the age of 18 she started playing drums and for two years served in the Israel Defense Forces, At the age of 20 she moved to Los Angeles.
