Thank you, this helped me a lot. All I need to do now is connect my two ring cams that were not getting signal to that network. Too short so I am waiting for help with that. I saved your video so I can remember if I ever have to do it again.

Thank you soo much for this video!! I needed to replace my ethernet cord and so I unplugged my extender for the time being and when i plugged it back in the extender wouldn't connect. The manual is lost in my 'paper pile'. This helped me a lot and my computer is back hardwired... Thank you!

Thank you for recording this how-to. My suggestion is to avoid using specific terminologies like "Oh...let me connect to 2.4" and instead say "Oh ...let me connect to my extender or router" While the "2.4 guy" makes perfect sense to you, audience might think your are taking about some 2.4Ghz something. Also you forgot to mention that evidently you need to install an app on your smart phone first. If that is a MUST, what is the name of the app? Remember "feedback only make you better. "

Thx for shedding at least a bit of light on this extender but you moved so quickly and from my 70 yr old crusty brain a bit randomly. From flipping around on the internet and reading about these extenders it says that it changes its name I don't even know what that means tomorrow morning will be when I screw everything up I'm trying to get my video doorbell to work once I close my front door my signal is terrible from my router I don't know if I'm going to have to reset the doorbell as well as this extender I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and for my money the instructions are terrible but we will see I hope

If you really want to provide a useful video on this device, fill the screen with your phone so the display is readable. There is no need to keep the device or other clutter on screen after completing the reset.
