I have the same similar setup that I the just bought recently used. I’m having issue with my weld where it don’t seem to want to give me that spark when welding and I was assuming it was my ground clamp due to old and rusted but I replaced with a new better ground clamp but it still welding red hot welding wire coming out the tip and not sparking like it should. I assuming it my ground cable or I’m not preparing my area of weld good enough. Im try to weld some exhaust pipe and it just won’t spark. Any ideas what causing this issue

In one shot (1:15) it looked like you were welding out in a field. Just curious if you have ran this on a generator or if you could. Thanks for your video

I've run it off of a champion 3200 watt generator and it worked great.

Just bought this model. I have a question tho and I can’t find any info on this topic. I’m wanting to use the .030 wire for mig welding, do I have to buy a different dual drive roll because the one came with it is a .025-.035 drive roll

I have used .030 wire with this welder and It hasn't been a problem with the stock drive roll. I haven't used it alot with .030 but I have not had any issues. Just make sure you get the tension right on your roll and change to a .030 tip.

I believe you just turn the roller around and .30 is on the other side.

I used .30 again in the .35 slot and it keep slipping on the tension feed wheel. It’s better to just use .25 or .35

You can do flux core without gas or 75/25 or 100 with solid core

is anybody welding 3/16 with this? I can’t seem to penetrate the metal. maybe its my outlet, idk has anyone tried?

These can go up to 5/16. You need to use the thicker wire and turn up to c maybe d. Make sure you have the ground clamped on in a spot free of rust.

Just because it's 110v , you can't use just any extension cord when welding the thicker stuff. Spend the money for a 10ga cord.

No gas if you use flux core wire.
