Damn there is SOO much difference between the MSF course and the the exam we need to take in Belgium..In advance sorry for my English is not my first language,,,I just got my license past friday. We MUST take 12 hours lessons on how to drive motorcycle then we need to make a maneuvers course and the course consists of a 90° lefr or right turn depends where you start into a slow speed slalom into figure 8 where you need to pass the middle 5 times and then exit > a long left turn that you need to take in 2nd gear with minimum 18mph (30km) into a obsticle swerve with minimum 31mph (50km) into e precision stop ( a small circle where your front wheel need to park without letting the ABS go on) into a slow riding > you need to drive 32 feet for 12sec + , if you are under 12 sec you failed into a emergency brake with minimum 31mph.... if you managed to do all that without once putting your foot on the ground or hit anything you then go 1 on 1 with an instuctor on the road for 45 min and he tells you where to frive and that need to be good aswel.. then you get your driving license...

Hey Bataha! I watched basically all of your Coleman cc100x videos. I also have a predator 212 cc100x, or should I say cc212x lol. And so far it’s going great. But, I was wondering how big a crf 50 is compared to the Coleman, and if you prefer the Honda or the 212 coleman?
@Bataha
@Bataha 9 күн бұрын
The CC100X you have way more room on the seat and your knees aren’t hitting the handlebars, cheaper than the Honda, 212 is more powerful. Honda suspension is nice and you can keep it in power because of the 3 gears, super easy to do wheelies on. They have similar seat heights but if you’re over 5’7 I wouldn’t get the crf50, I had to sit far back on the seat and it’s not as comfortable for longer riding.
@RoyalET85
@RoyalET85 9 күн бұрын
@@Bataha Okay, thank you. I’m over 5’7 so I’m glad you said that. I was considering getting the Honda for a few reasons. One because it’s legal as long as it’s registered for the street. And two because I won’t be scraping the pegs on the ground constantly, and it is possibly better in snow.

I watched this video probably 5 times before my second day of the msf course and it made me feel so much better knowing what I was going into. I had a bit of a rough first day because I had never touched a motorcycle before, dropped the bike twice, once at the beginning of day 1 and once at the very end of day 1 (mostly due to heat exhaustion- mid summer in florida in "feels like 97°" weather) and almost got counseled out because of that but my coaches saw that I was learning quickly, listening to everything they said, improving substantially for a complete newbie. by day 2 my brain seemed to have processed everything overnight and day 2 was SO much fun. after watching this video I knew exactly what to expect for the skills test which calmed my nerves a ton. I only had two mistakes: put my foot down in the u-turn and clipped a small cone during the swerve. perfect scores in everything else. ended up with 10 points bc of those two things (5 points each), and you had to have less than 16 to pass. my instructor said he was glad i put my foot down rather than dropping the bike because if i had done that it would've been an automatic fail. I was the only complete beginner in my class and some of the others had just as many points as me, and one guy failed due to stalling, not stopping with his front tire in the stop boxes, not going fast enough on the quick stop, and other mistakes that just compounded together. my advice for any newbies going to take this course: DON'T get too in your head. do the easy stuff like stopping and starting well. learn the friction zone so you don't stall. trust your bike. listen to the instructors when they tell you to speed up during the practice excercises, bc you'll need to have a feel for the speed you need to be at during the test. even if day 1 feels too hard, don't be afraid to go back for day 2. your brain may just need rest to make connections and process all the new physical and mental skills you're learning

Has this changed, or does it vary by state? We had similar tests in 2018 in Virginia, but we had to do a full figure 8 in the box rather than a U turn, they had us do the quick stop from 30+ mph and verified that we shifted to 1st before putting our foot down, also had us do an emergency stop in the middle of a turn, and also emergency avoidance maneuvers with blinker usage where we would ride straight at an instructor, then when they pointed to one side or the other we had to brake, blinker on, shoulder check, and veer into the "lane" on the side they indicated to avoid the box they were standing in.

I'm so mad i failed the first test because i wasn't looking all the way or i did a sharp turn "too slow" & the weave test we practiced once with the cones straight which was super easy ! then they had them diagonal and at a short distance from each other, I'm like wtf ! this is way harder dude. but i take the retest Wednesday so hopefully i pass this timeee.

Tomorrow is the test for me and I’m so nervous I can’t even sleep lmao and I’m dreading on going I kind of want to back out but luckily me and my boyfriend are doing this together so he’s pushing me to finish what we started. I did good today but struggled a lot in the morning. There is some stuff that makes me nervous like changing gears or stalling the bike everything else I feel confident about. Wish me luck!

Big rear sprocket. I think I was running a 60 or 72 tooth. Notice how fast it gets up to speed. If put on a 50 or 40 tooth rear it would be making 50s easy.
