He's also identified things that were merely norms everyone took for granted that didn't have to be upheld by corrupt people when it suited them. I have no confidence either reform will happen in the current hyper partisan atmosphere unless Democrats have such a strong majority in both chambers of Congress that Republicans can't throw any obstacles into their path.
