Ready. Set. Let's go Christmas thrifting! I had my 'list' that I was hunting for, but only found one item. Things NOT on my list? Lots of great deals to decorate my home and myself 😉. Well, ‘‘tis the Season for last minute shopping, and this week we’re putting the “purpose” in “repurposing.” We’re going thrifting for Christmas. The holidays can be an expensive time of year, but we’ve got the tips and tricks to turn your holiday thrift haul into fab Christmas fun.

I totally agree! Some channels make me seasick with their filming. I love how Stuart is moved by what he is filming. Sir Stuart seems to laugh, exclaim and asks questions authentically about the topic at hand while filming.

I love these videos because they inspire so many ideas! I’m really trying hard to not spend so much lately and your voice in my head saying to thrift from your own home and is working! I already have some great vessels to fill with greenery and berries for the holidays and my hubs and I foraged for some pretty greens,berries and branches and voila, I have what I need without spending a dime! I like to thrift jewelry and antique jewelry boxes. This year I collected about 15 to give as gifts with my jewelry finds for the younger generations. I love thrifting!

I found an antique pink Hall teapot at Goodwill for $2.79 that I filled with assorted herbal tea bags to give to my sister. Then I wrapped it in a pretty pink and cream tea towel.

You did great. That red dress is wonderful but I love the jacket destined for Stewart's, Mom the best especially since it is reversible. I have a light weight reversible jacket that can go from casual to dressy I bought about 20 years ago and it still remains a staple of my travel wardrobe.

Very fun video, and Stuart is the epitome of a fun shopping buddy! In our 54 years of marriage my husband has never had a clue, or cared about any trends, fabrics, colour, decor.......you name it! We've never shared 'the shopping experience" that's for sure! He's the typical old half asleep guy you see sitting on the couch in the malls. 😂 He's pretty patient so that's a good quality anyway! LOL Love all the items and the Kate Spade dress was made for you! Gorgeous! Bet you were thinking, "START THE CAR"!! :)

It’s all so gorgeous, especially that great Christmas Kate Spade dress. Yes, in deed, yesterday it was all BBC about ebay and thrift gifts between my daughter a myself. These gifts are one of a kind perfect gifts for people that have everything they need. Winners!

Shacket, remember the old CPO jackets? That's what we called them in the 60's or 70's. I had a wool lined one that was my horse/barn jacket. Good memories!

Absolutely! Saw a cover on 'Flower' magazine and had to attempt to duplicate it. Went nuts on Ebay finding a few vases and containers in the color scheme and went through what I had on hand and while it different it still provided the color and theme impact! Fun to do and why I am now watching your videos..just found you about a week ago...lots of great ideas for home and garden..YAY!

of course I stop the video and get a good look at what you have done inside your house ( love the book shelves in your bedroom ) and especially in your garden. I have even stopped the video and taken a picture with my phone, especially of the pattern of the bricks, so I can replicate. So the answer is yes, we are doing this with your great ideas !

Love thrifting 😊 Christmas gorgeous plates, Waterford wine glasses with hollies! What a set Paid $35 😮 Along with the vase Amazing 😉 Initially, I went for garlands and I hit the thrift jackpot! Found a Balsam Hill garland with lights 😅 I came home vacuumed it wiped it gently and put it on my front doors with a 10 cents velvet red bow 😂😂. I’m so thankful that we have these places Only in USA ❤ Love the dress! 😊 Thank you for sharing I did hit a likey like! 🎄

When I was in high school in the early 70's, we called the "shacket" a "CPO" jacket. It stood for Chief Petty Officer. Mostly the guys would go to a local army surplus store and purchase the army green CPOs, which I suppose is why they were called CPO jackets. However, we girls had plaid wool CPOs, which looked nothing like the army green ones, but like your shacket. In like manner flip flops were called thongs back then! Anyway, well done Linda!!

The dresses are amazing!!! I love all of your thrifted finds. I’ve been thrifting for years and always find unique items. And yes, I definitely gift thrift. Of course I also purchase new items to supplement the thrifted finds, but I’m always so happy to find the truly unique items for friends and family. I have a mid century modern house and have mostly decorate the entire house with thrifted decor and furnishings……so fun!!! I love your channel and you look well and relaxed. Thank you for today's thrifting video. I love all of the ideas you give with the decor tips, serving item tips and especially the clothing items. My husband and I have enjoyed going to more garage sales, thrift stores, estates sales these last couple years. We always come home with unique items. I have scored on some wonderful things and paid very, very little which is always so satisfying!. I have also shopped my own stash and used as a container to hold Christmas gifts for my family also. Thanks again!!
