I'm in the UK and I'm wondering if we have the same tree here. I know we have trees of the same family but I've never noticed a blossom like this. Great video.

Yes!! I live in Scotland and have been looking everywhere! I found some down the road at our local golfcourse of all places and they have loads! Right now they are blooming. All the Linden I've found here, when you get close, they hum! They're full of bees 🥰

@@firebug_shevmac8711 Thanks for that it gives me a bit of hope. I'm new to all of this but since taking an interest it's as though everything I'm looking for is being put in front of me. I was looking for Mullein and while they say it grows everywhere I'd not seen it. I got out of the car yesterday at my brother's house....there it was at least 6 plants growing tall. Hopefully the same will happen with the Linden 👍

That's brilliant. I've had to grow my own mullein. I looked in vein for a while and decided to grow my own. Chickweed was another one I couldn't find so decided to grow :) good luck hunting for linden xx

There a few different members of the Lime Tree (Linden) growing in the UK, it can be hard to differentiate between them as they readily hybridise with each other. The flowers should be similar.

hi Fla here. what are your thoughts on Moringa? i have been using it for 4 years now .has helped me get over nerve damage and inflamation. now i have discovered intestinal worms .my back and middle hurts . i am very conservative and don't just over take anything . My question is moringa dangerous ? i buy some and grow them too. just made seed oil from last crop of seeds. have some left unprocessed.

I rarely use Moringa. I don’t have anything against it, except at unusually high doses. Taken at normal doses it’s probably fine. There are some potential toxicity concerns, and it shouldn’t be used by women trying to conceive or pregnant, but not really much actual reports of harm at normal doses. Here’s a good article: link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s13596-020-00468-0

Question, I made a tincture of saint johns wort last summer and forgot that I made an extra one in a smaller jar, now when I strain it will it still be good?
@dr.mindya.curryndpassionfo7590

Yes. I myself prefer to wait until use before straining my tinctures. It’s debated in herbalist circles.

I now see this warning posted on numerous websites that are not well regarded amongst actual herb experts. These are the big online medical advice sites, and they all suspiciously are worded almost identically, like a child’s game of telephone, amplifying this reductionistic claim. While studies have shown milk thistle to have mild estrogenic properties, similar to soy beans, the key here is that these are MILD estrogenic effects. More importantly is what milk thistle actually does. It’s signature benefit. Remember that milk thistle is primarily taken to increase liver health. What’s one of the myriad responsibilities of our humble livers? To process, metabolize, and excrete excess estrogen. We need a healthy liver to get rid of extra estrogen that may contribute to estrogen dominance-related conditions. Even if milk thistle is MILDLY estrogenic, the benefits to our liver health probably outweigh those effects. Indeed one recent study on an herbal combination featuring milk thistle as one of the active participants actually increased estrogen metabolism, effectively reducing the amount of active estrogen by speeding up its clearance from the body. When your liver is sluggish, estrogen doesn’t get broken down and lingers causing problems. A healthy liver helps modulate hormones, leaving you with just the right amount. Milk thistle helps your liver work right. That’s powerful.

You should probably go to a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO). These are naturopaths that specifically treat cancers. My family has found great value from Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors for cancer.
