I totally agree. I've been playing the violin for 7 years. If you know both the song and the dance very, and I mean VERY good, it's possible. But it's really impressive. Hard to get clean tones.😂

@@lenabialon1927 what a coincidence! I've been playing violin for 7 years too, since I was 4. But since I was 4 it was harder for me to process things. Then I moved to the UK when I was 8. I stopped for 2 years because I couldn't find a teacher. Then we found one, a true angel she was. She still teaches me today. I did my violin exam and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be where I am now. Sorry if I started to speak too much •u•

Wow, that's inspirational. I started when I was five, I'm thirteen in March so then it's eight years. I live in Sweden, and I've lived here since I was born. I had a really good violin teacher in the local music school, but for a really long time I felt like I didn't get better at playing. Then for half a year, this year, I had a teacher from Poland, where I am from. She really had pressure on me, but it helped me A LOT. She even visited us one week and then I had like 4 lessons a day, each was one hour.🥵She went back to Poland and my lessons started here again (they start as school starts). I wanted to ski too, I've done it for many years, just as playing violin. So after a little time we decided to stop with the lessons in Poland. I grew as a violinist but also as a person. Here I am now, stressed for the big tests next week. (We have big tests in 3,6 and 9 grade. I'm in sixth) That was also one reason why I stopped playing with the Polish teacher. I had to study. Now I'm going to play some Christmas music in the church. That was always one of my dreams, to play violin in the church. That was pretty long, I hope you have the energy to read it lol

Listen to Andre Rieu if you love violin. Not to take anything away from Lindsay who I think is fantastic, but to play an acoustic violin takes a whole different level of skill, and the music sounds more nuanced. In my opinion
