Yes.. the thing is.. it's eel.. they are not risking to keep their fingers in the eels mouth to take the thread..eels body is like a snake and eels are soo agressive in nature..it's so hard to hold an eel and take thread because it can easily bite the fingers because of its flexible body..u can see in the video how agressive it is when it was lifted up..and hence to avoid risk they are throwing it and mostly eel are not prefered by people to eat

Don't leave the hook within their mouth..either kill them or take off the hook before leaving them back in the sea. Will you keep a fish borne stuck in your mouth the whole life.?
