Peter himself gives the most incisive rebuttal of Papal authority when he says "No prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation." That means no Christian needs to depend on any priest or institution for revelation or understanding in God's word.

May every professing Christian learn to read and study the Bible carefully that they may learn what to stand for as a Christian. And please, use the KJV Bible. Do not be deceived by the new bible versions.
