He played DB and WR in High school. Clemson came along and picked him up late. They recruited him to play safety because two underclass players left early. He was a three star. He went to Olathe North High school in Kansas. Clemson didn’t switch him tho. They brought him in as a DB. He did run track. The 200 meter. 2nd in the state of Kansas and He was a long jumper.

They are usually a tad slower but most can hang with receivers the difference I think is change of direction and the agility recievers and corners have

You guys may not even get Chase. Rumor is that the Skins are very interested in Tua after meeting with him at the combine. You guys are also in perfect position to trade with a QB needy team and it's now being said that 4 QBs may be taken to 10 after seeing the combine. We shall see, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Skins traded the pick away for more draft capital.

This is a fast Linbacker core. If i was a NFL Scout. I would recuirt this group of linebacker. And give them all new positions. Imagine a 238lb WR running a 4.3 with a linebacker mentality like Isaiah Simmons. Dangerous.

They need to get rid of the 40 for everyone outside of wide receivers. When will a linebacker have to run 40 yards fast in a play? Rarely! Your causing too many unnecessary injuries to hurting the stock of these players. They should do a fast 10/20 yard sprint max.

The linebackers are faster than ever before to cover the passing game, but with that you lose size and teams start running it again. Much harder to win if you can't stop the run vs not stopping the pass.

kyle grant he’s definitely a hybrid guy, so it’s hard to give him the title of 1 position in particular, but he only played 10% of his snaps at LB this year.

If you doing a 100 yard race with someone, they could be ahead of you by the 40 yard line. But once you accelerate and start to hit that top speed and maintain it, you can smoke them.

As cool as speed is at LB it isnt that important. It is really more important to have someone tough and instintive who can blitz and break off blocks. Most speed guys get stuck easily except for Simmons, he is special
