They're great. I didn't know what to think the first time I heard them.. fllute, hurdy gurdy, and heavy rock.. alright! They've gone through some style changes through the years and this is kind of a blend of them all. You should check out their other songs: Inis Mona or King.. they bring in bagpipes!

To my ear, beneath the folk influence, it is melodic death metal. You can tell from the phrasing, even in the drum parts. So many metal bands bring a lot of energy, but then do nothing with it. They just double kick drums at you for 4 minutes. Blasting beats is intense, but texture changes are engaging.

Yves got it right! I want to like this band... I really do. But I don't. I've tried several of their songs, and I do appreciate what they're doing and their artistry in doing so... I just can't get into it despite having deep celtic roots myself and living in a CelticAF country. Kudos on your editing though my friend.
