What wouldthat even be? "Your character walks into the door thinking it was a push door but it was a pull door and you smacked into it to your surprise. Because you weren't expecting to run into like that, you lost your footing and fell, and on the way down, your scarf caught on the doorknob, and you end up hanging yourself. Roll a save.

Reminds me of the ultimate weapon ever *almost* made by my players terrible rolls of Nat 1's in a row. It was a door that one Paladin stabbed into to attempt to attack a zombie on the other side, only to get stuck in the door before it was knocked down on top of him by said zombie, followed by the parties Fighter jumping ontop of the door to defend/Accidentally crush and trap him while fighting the zombie, and the Goliath Monk behind them attempting to lift the door up with both of them holding onto it. It was meant to be the Greatest Paladin club ever, before another Nat 1 happened and they dropped the door, the fighter got accidentally stabbed with a throwing knife from the Paladin, and the zombie nearly mauls them to death while the Warlock watches from a good distance away in horror at all of these idiots killing themselves because they didn't want to open a door.... it was a very fun night.

In old school Basic D&D, "Elf" actually was a class in and of itself. You weren't an Elven Thief, or an Elven Wizard, you were just an Elf (which functioned like Fighter/Magic-User hybrids with certain bonus abilities.)

The Cosmic Cube was adapted into The Tesseract/Space Stone in the MCU. It has only 1 use make portals to any place the user wants. HYDRA took the energy of The Tesseract to make laser guns in WW2 which isn't its intended use.

I like that the D&D comic did that spell right. Freezing a monster like that would be the spell Hold Monster and the material to cast the spell is a “small, straight piece of iron” so a nail would work perfectly for that.

Given the propensity of the Marvel Hostess ads, especially the Spider-Man ones, it does make me wonder if the Spider-Verse comic event series has ever been considered for review or if it has been voted to be looked at for Event Comics Month 3 by the Patrons, especially given that the Spider-Verse movie has gotten people more aware of the name. I mainly ask since a Hostess Spider-Man of sorts does show up in the event itself and, well, let’s just say that Hostess isn’t the solution to certain problems...
