It is finally done. I built this map as content for the community, but also as a challenge to myself. After over 2 months of grinding on and off, I have won. Menagerie 2 was designed as an extremely difficult ‘progression’ map, increasing in difficulty as you progress further. The l/d in this map is intended to be brutal and relentless, allowing only the most consistent and confident players to pass. If you are thinking of attempting this map, although tough, it is very possible, and players should set themselves goals of first reaching r5, then reaching the ‘barrier wall’ checkpoint of r7.
My thoughts on all the individual fs rooms - all good except r6 and s1 (wow so biased). R6 just has lame tick jumps and s1 is just too scary since lots of jumps are unexpectedly l/d to start. R7+ might scare a lot of players, but with the right strats and patience, its very doable.
