Did you find the way to refer the dimensions to the projected lines of the sketch? I'm facing similar issues

wouldn't you get the same result using the sub-assembly in the assembly interface?

Hi Jelton, good question. It will depend on what information need exactly going from child to parent parts. Parameters from the assembly aren't easily accessible from the sub-assembly for example, though you could always rely on projected/reference geometry when building a part in place.
