I was a huge LP fan in high school and never knew the drama behind this unreleased song. But I've been on a LP kick lately, listening to all their old stuff, and GOD this song is legitimately something special. We miss you Chester.

And here I thought that maybe Pictureboard was just some urban myth among fans, or got repurposed into another demo that we didn't know about. Though I guess the speculation about "be yourself" or "in yourself" (people couldn't seem to pick one name) being Pictureboard, was in a way accurate. It's nice to see it finally uploaded. Songs like pictureboard, she couldn't, blackbirds etc show us the soft side of linkin park, which is as good as their other side.

this was literally the only demo that wasnt leaked online. I had literally EVERY lp demo downloaded back in my childhood, and i searched damn near far and wide to make sure i had every single one and this one was the only one that i coudnt find. what a fucking great song. Sounds straight out of the early 2000s, took me right back to the days of Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle.

Goddamn this is beautiful. It embodies so much of my tastes in late 90s and 00s music that in a way that feels distinct from other Linkin Park songs. Puts a soft smile on my face even through lingering melancholy, something about it is oddly soothing to listen to. One of my fav LP songs.

Man, life sucks sometimes, but i guess we gotta keep marching on through I just hope there will be some way to fill the hole left by such a legend of a man I don't think i could or would ever forget Chester, He was the centerpiece of a band who showed me something that became part of who i am I hope that regardless of where ever he is now, i just hope he's happy I'm not usually religious in this sort of way, but this is one motivation to believe in heaven Rest In Peace, Chester, ya crazy legend!

The band was looking for a vocalist and this was the song Chester applied with...when they heard his voice they almost cried from happiness, they new they found the right guy

I don't know why this song is so good to me, it just is, like, it just evokes this feeling of being alright you know but also being alone, the verses that Mike continue to repeat during the song paints this picture, of this dark isolated place which, for some reason, it's just so cozy for me, i want to be at night, in the back of the hall, listening to the rainfall.
