The next time you are in a game centre with your boys, join in, you might suprise yourself and enjoy it. Also your boys will never forget. The 1st time i went on a driving game i got my mum to race me ( who had been driving for years) knowing i wouldn't win, but i did by crashing into a wall and bouncing off. I was 7 and now almost 30 still remember it. ❤

Such a fun trip! I love the rich heritage that’s all around you. Yep! Boys will always be boys! Patient mommy waiting for almost 3 hours. The thing is, mommy’s don’t mind waiting when their menfolk are having fun! I’m glad you were rewarded with a nice dinner! Thx for sharing! 🐟 ❤️

The Samurai Museum looked really fascinating! There use to be a restaurant here called Daruma and it had a set of armor. So beautiful. Seeing the armor at that museum mad me remember the restaurant. 🙂

So happy that you & your family got to get away for a short trip...it always does the spirit so good to travel, if you can. I love it that you all do the activities where you visit too...such a good learning experience for everyone, especially the boys. Your sons did great making their Chikuwa!! Looks so good after it's grilled too! Your room has a beautiful view...so happy for you all!! The boys were so cute making their pizzas & everyone's dinner looked delicious! Even though it wasn't a castle, but a museum, it was still very interesting. This is such a great way for the boys to learn about Japan's culture, from actually experiencing it themselves. Japanese art is always so intricate & beautiful, with all it's details...I think a lot of Asian art is this way. All of "your boys" seem to really enjoy the game center in the basement!! haha 2 1/2 hours!! Wow, you are a very patient Mama!! I'm so happy you all enjoyed your time away & thank you so much for sharing too, dear, sweet Linna!! Blessings to all♥

The kamaboko workshop looks so interesting. I knew hanpen used different fish to kamaboko, but never thought about the other fishcakes🤔 I've never seen Iberico ham and pineapple combi. Here we only combine raw ham and melon. Haha yes boys will be boys always. That drum game, we have it on the switch and it's my husband who plays that.

We are in Osaka for the weekend, the husband wants to go to den den town to stock up on modelling supplies as they are way cheaper than Tokyo and I get to buy some anime figures. I would love to make fish cakes!!

Oh I am sorry you don’t like it… ? But different shop or brand has quite different taste and flavor, and the level of fermentation has a big impact too. I hope you have the courage again in the future 😂 well, just to share with you, I tried Natto (fermented soy bean) for more than a year until I finally think I am OK with it 🤣
