You are the most beautiful human being ever! Inside and out. That dinner montage in the van after showering was so cozy. There's nothing like a good shower after being on the road for days. Thank you for being so vulnerable in your videos. I, too, have encountered so many kind people on the road, and I cry too when they offer such kindness and connection that is so rare nowadays. It's like you paid him back more than money can buy just in making this memorable masterpiece. Sharing the hardships with vehicle trouble that feels constant in this lifestyle and the goodness with the beautiful walk back to the van with the rainbow shows the good outweighing any bad for a nature lover like me. It's videos like these that make travel seem obtainable. It feels like a real persons life as opposed to other manicured vanlife videos. You made it feel obtainable for me, at least, and now im on the road with my dog living the life I always dreamed of. The way akila has had socks and cones lately it really feels relatable to my maggie girl. They put us through the ringer but it wouldn't be doable without them. As one girl who is thankful for meaningful connection to another, keep being just as you are, you are changing the world and so many lives online in addition to your openess to recieve people and goodness while on the road. Can't wait for the next beautiful video.

My great grandmother walked across this country as a teenager with a wagons train, ended up in Oregon. I love that there are people still exploring and enjoying the special places in this beautiful country. A little more comfortably than she did haha.

You know I know this is going to sound silly but I was thinking obviously the bugs are terrible this year for a lot of us here in the United States but what I was thinking is what if you guys got like one of the big screen tents at least when you just want to sit outside and hang out you know you could at least be protected a lot more from them. I know it sounds simple but I think that would work for you. you probably already have one truth be told lol but I think that would work. that's what I would do. Linnea! Lay your clothes out and get some sawyer permethrin spray. Coat your clothing so the mosquitoes will stay away this really helps. I was in the army and used this for my uniforms and really learned to appreciate this stuff it’s highly underrated and doesn’t get enough praise. I use it now for my hikes and my dog gets a coat of it too (they make a dog version) Amazon sells the spray.

Good people make the biggest difference in the world with this lifestyle - I make KZfaq videos in a similar spirit as yours (have been living on the road with my two cats for about 10 months now) and recently myself in a similar situation of being out in the middle of nowhere with a nail in my tire wall of one of my tires (which essentially meant that I had to buy 4 new tires). It just happened that one of the very few places in the area happened to be literal angels and, very similar to your experience, went above and beyond and were so kind and caring. It was also amazing because what initially seemed like a really unfortunate delay turned out be a huge blessing in disguise because if I would have left when I thought I would have been stuck in an area that flooded - beautiful how this life can be! The west (especially where I live in Colorado) has had SO much rain, I'm not surprised that you're experiencing such bad mosquito problems.

Well, I'm broke down in Montana too, air compressor died, brakes seized. Yesterday I had a nail in one of my duals lol. I found someone willing to work on the bus but HE broke down on his way here 🤦. So I get to sit in a sweet little mountain town and he'll be here in the morning. I'm just grateful it happened in a town vs the backcountry. Montanans really are awesome!

I love the way you create these vlogs, the creative presentation often reminds me to ‘look up’ see the sky, zero in on the amazing flora…gratitude for the peeps that you come across. Thank you! BTW not long ago I bought diesel that looked funky when I pulled out the spout, I snapped a photo of the inspector (never did that before but I never thought I just dumped bad diesel in the tank either,) anyway, sure enough the engine got bad and then worse, injectors were plugged. Lot of money and way too much time waiting to get the work done. What I learned is to try to buy diesel from a place that has lots of turn over, not alway easy to tell. I know you use gas but maybe getting good quality gas matters(?) Yes I did call the inspector and he said he called the station and the station said it was fine….since then I’ve asked truck drivers and they have all told me stories about bad diesel and stations they avoid. Who knew? Bet there’s more to learn about that. Always something. Anyway, I hope the cleaner helped!

Here in central Virginia there is something really odd going on. Used to be if you drove down the road the windshield would be covered with smushed bugs. They are all gone now. You never have them on the windshield anymore. I don’t think it’s a good thing. Kinda scary actually. Appreciate the bugs.

Thought you said best poop in my life, till I played it again and best poop with a view, LOL. Keep it real that's always good. Both of you seemed a tad worried when off trail and then had to hop over timbers to get to it, even the dogs looked spent. Everytime a fuel injector starts showing up on the code reader or starts to stumble, I go to Walmart or a parts house and get some techron or techrolene and put a bottle in the gas tank. Clears up the problem in about 5 miles 😉 Techron is a patented product sold by Chevron. It is patented by Chevron and its the only chemical that works. Chevron also puts it in their gas.

it is nice to hear this. I had a older chevy truck that had a check engine light on the entire time i owned it. I asked 2 shops and they said it was only the check engine light that was the trouble. HA HA Ihad it 8 years and put 30 k miles on it like it was... of couirse sometimes it could be serious. I would always check the oil level if it IS ON. Thanks God B less youj. I have seen that some ppl make screens with nylon panty hose and pull over the doors to keep bugs out, but there is a company in Australia that makes screans that are magnetic to go over your doors or back doors to keep bugs out. I think its called bubnles of Australia something similar but that i think would be a great investment to your van.
