Take good care brother! There is some nasty crap going around. Up here in Canada, I have 5 friends down with something, 2 in the hospital, and 1 that's in ICU/ Don't make yourself any sicker if you can help it. I prefer to miss a week than have you go out completely!! Health is #1

Thank you! I use VOX & Vobi... but it does not work on Windows 10. I tried MicroSip, which works, but LinPhone seems the way.

It is possible to use their open source code and change it to a personalized app and then use their API to credit people to use the app when they want to make call?

Their core business is using their technology as embedded VoIP solutions. You would be encouraged to access their API and do your own implementation, pretty much similar to what the Jitsi Meet open source platform does with 8x8 who supports it and uses it as a Saas solution

How to call any number from linphone? If receiver is not using linephone ?

For this you would need to subscribe to a third party company which you usually pay for, they would give you a sip number and when you call out, they act as an exchange to pass on your call to an external number, but you usually pay for they service

Can you please tell how safe is this SIP address. is it safe from hackers, viruses and malware.

In the case of LinPhone, the calls to my understanding between two parties are peer to peer and fully encrypted. If you are extremely concerned, you could take it a step further and host your own instance of LinPhone on your cloud server, but I am confident that is Rock solid.

@@RoryTownsendTV Dosent Linphone also offer TLS encryption for SIP as well. So instead of just making a SIP address we can make a SIPS address which will then provide an encrypted connection. But can you tell me if it is necessary to enable "ALG SIP" under router security and then also enable all "DoS protection" security settings in routers "advanced security".

Not sure, I am not a coding person but i believe these platforms are designed to be integrated with other apps and like Jitsi Meet, they can stand on their own, but really designed to be integrated.

@@RoryTownsendTV Twillio is a sip telephony gateway provider (where you connect to make the call) not any kind of app ...
