People forget how much Tuukka shared the workload with Thomas that season, allowing Timmy to be at his full potential in the playoffs. And we call know how that turned out. I see way too many similarities between that team and this one

I think even better. They seem to be a lot closer and there's a clear understanding of the roles. I never remember Tuukka and Timmy hugging lol.

@@johnmagri6409 Hextall did twice in the same season! Epic!!!!!!!!!!!! But now, pretty sure that Ullmark just set the all time record for the longest lofted goalie goal of all time..... I think.... Or something..... Still, no matter what, it's still badass. Goalie goals are a[ways awesome!!!!

Play it back in slow mo, .25 speed. He slaps it right thru 3 offenders charging right at him, one that has a stick up, 2 that have no idea what is going on, then over the top of two defenders, then just plunks it down niceley, right before a GOAL! Good job Ullmark!

it's weird IMO these type of goals don't happen a little more often with the amount of goalie pulling the last 2 seasons. teams are pulling their goalies like crazy lately, sometimes while down even 3 goals, or with 5-6 minutes on the clock

tbf its a VERY difficult shot. pretty much full length of the ice, the net is quite small, and you are using a giant stick trying to put enough power that it will go all the way with no chance of getting blocked
