The Blade now comes with a 1060, which is a huge improvement over the 970M. Also, if you buy it, get the lowest possible storage option, then sell it and buy a much cheaper and better performing M.2 drive on Amazon. Or get a SATA M.2 drive and save a lot of money.

This has nothing to do with this product you reviewed but I feel like this is a good way to ask people to help me with my computer. So I was browsing the internet on my PC a couple hours ago and all of a sudden, it froze. I couldn't do anything so I manually turned off my comp via the button on the case. I left to go out for an hour or two and I came back and turned my comp on and it wouldn't start. It finally did and it blue screened and told me. "Your computer was not shut down properly. Please restart." So i restarted it and the same screen came up. But there was an option for "troubleshooting" and it gave a me a whole bunch of options to "restart" my PC. However, it was for factory settings, so i didn't restart it. I shut it down properly by clicking the shut down option on the blue screen. I don't really know what to do. I've looked some things up, but I probably haven't looked deep enough. I think my hard drive may be corrupt I don't know. But I'd love some help if anyone if willing to. Thanks!

Thing is the screen, not the bezel but the glass in front of the screen is waaaaaay too thick and 'distant' from the actual screen, which makes it look like a reflect magnet.

spot on review in some ways (my first major complaint were the non-lit function keys, too).. but after using it for a while i figured that the 1060 model is where razer jumped the shark. i played sniper elite 4 on a plane recently and it got so hot i could barely touch it at all. while the 2015 model was loud when gaming but quiet when idling the 3000 $ 2016 model has its fan running at minimum 45% all the time. also mine tended to just shut randomly down (although that might be a windows problem). all in all: this is not a macbook replacement. sorry.

PLEASE review the new razer blade 14 with the new 1060 inside. I know it's not launched yet, but you can always ask your friends at razer for a review model ;)

Trading Intel Wireless for Killer seems like a huge mistake :(. The benchmarks I've ran indicate that Killer tends to add latency to communication. Granted, it's only by about 3 - 6ms, but I've not tested the 1535 specifically. I'd love to see a video on the 'Current State of Killer NICs vs Intel', Linus!
